Short story:

Played Graal since 7th grade, be 27, have 'classic' account + active 'Gold' subscription. Decide to finally learn GS2 to become a more well-rounded developer - testbed server no longer exists...so drop $70 dollars on Developer Gold to hone skills.

Receive server, but get no RC access. NBD, send e-mail to [email protected], send PMs to Stefan and all PWAs. E-mail says 1-3 days...okay. Wait 3 days. Nothing. Be slightly irritated. Four days, slightly more irritated, debate requesting PayPal refund. Complain on official Graal forums, post gets deleted by former PWA turned forum mod who is apparently more active than current PWA. Ironic.

Five days, beyond irritated. E-mail Unixmad, telling him situation and requesting to be given RC access or a refund. Put in dispute (not even a claim for refund). Within hour, my server is removed and my account is banned for 'fraud'. Wow. Escalated PayPal dispute to claim.


TL;DR: Give Eurocenter $70 dollars, don't get product, ask for product or refund, get banned for 'fraud'. GG.

Where do you live? Depending on the consumer laws of your country, you're entitled to your money back. There should be a section there stating if you do not receive a product you bought you are able to get a refund (or something similar). On the extreme side, you can always sue Eurocenter.

That's nothing, back when 2002 (graal kingdoms) started up, we were all told to create new accounts (ex: Torankusu_2002), upgrade them, and it would be our staff / dev account.

Well, as time passed, the gold did not lapse for obvious reasons, until one day it was banned for fraud. It was banned for 8 years until someone decided to unban it.

Either way, you need to log onto Graal Kingdoms, find Stephen idling there, and talk to him about it.

Once he does that, it default bans his account (Even if it had previously paid-for-and-completely-unrelated-to-this-incident-GOLD access) labels it as fraudulent activity.

It is unlikely to get looked into, because, as I said, it DEFAULTS to Fraud.

They would be attacking the wrong person then. Stephane Portha (Unixmad) is the person you want. There was a page titled "Exposing Stephane Portha", but it was taken down.

Most of the Zelda-looking sprites I've seen are modified slightly so that they resemble Zelda but not enough to get them sued.

Just because they're doing bad this gen with their console, doesn't mean they're hard for money. Gamecube did horrible as well, and it took a VERY long time for the PS3 to gain any sort of ground.

Nintendo can afford to make mistakes and still be very well off... especially since the Wii last generation sold so amazingly. Also, like was said above, they're still dominating the handheld market.

Nintendo has more systems than just the Wii. They also own a whole entire baseball team, which if you ask me, they're doing pretty well.
