The Graalians Notebook.
 

Introducing the Graalians Notebook. I bought a hardcover sketchbook and am going to send it from Graalian to Graalian around the world, and have each member add something to a page of their own, whether it's a picture, drawing, poem, story, or anything. Should be an interesting experiment seeing what everyone is able to share!

I'm probably going to need some assistance in organizing this so if you're interested just ask.

Register by PMing me on here or Facebook if you're interested. You MUST tell me your location. A country and city is enough for now.

The deadline for registering is April 11th.

I'll be updating a list of people registered. Eventually, when we have a finalized list, I'll post a map of the route on google maps. There will be a maximum number of 96 people allowed (If it even gets to that number). Only register if you're sure you'll keep up with this project. If you don't respond in time when it gets to you, we'll just skip you.

I feel like some asshole is going to either receive it and not send it, or draw all over it, good idea but i'd suggest "background checks" on people before you send it to them

Whenever the registration period is over and we have a finalized list of people I'll work out the easiest route and post a little map on here showing it.

Shouldn't there be like idk drawing requirements? I don't wanna sound like an a-hole but honestly I think the book would be ruined if someone drew like stick figures.

The only requirement is that you don't draw any offensive pictures. (Nudity/genitilia).

Also, you don't have to draw something. You can write a story or a poem. You could do a collage. Be creative!

Sure! Heck, you can put CDs inside it if you wish. As long as its flat enough to squeeze between the pages snugly.

Yeah I'm not sure about the adress thing.. Like when I get it I'll have to send it to the next address right? Well I wouldn't be comfortable someone having my address and I'm sure the person Infront of me doesn't want me to have their address.

If you're not comfortable with sharing your address with other graalians this project probably isn't for you. But for the record I'm pretty sure most people here aren't criminals. Besides, a lot of the people on the list have been with the community for years and are well known. Not to mention that the people that are willing to actually go through with this (I'm talking about sticking with it for months) will probably not be the people that you can't trust. All the potential trolls will get tired of waiting and lose interest by then.

If the person in front of you is taking part I'm pretty sure they understand what's going on and are comfortable with sharing their address.

I think our view of the graal community is way too negative. Most of the people on this list have been here for years. If they were going to do something bad they would have done it by now. That said, if some dont want to participate because they don't want to give their information thats fine. I completely understand why some people don't want to give away their information.

Just to clarify the address is just going to be given through PMs. Only one or two people will ever see it. We're going to try to keep this as confidential as possible.

I really do think no one should leak what is inside it. No posting nothing at all. Only people that can read it is if they were part of it where it is at that point. If they already wrote in it.
I am sure I will be one of the first to get it so I won't see much in it but I would like to see what others will write out.

It'll be cool to see what everyone else's state or country is like. I'll be sure to add some cool things from Alaska.

So I noticed.. I'm not on list yet...

Should try to keep it as anonymous as possible, so people can't link names to addresses.

My suggestion? Give an address(since it's necessary) but everyone should have the same name. IE Something like shipping it to:

Graal Notebook
5555 Fake rd.
Faketown, FS, 50505

Then always have the returning address as Pimpsy's. This will also ensure if something goes wrong, it gets back to him. Finally, should try not to reveal(at least on Pimpsy's end) the order of who is getting the notebook, such as who is going to receive it next.
