Problems With Houses

At start you always see people saying stuff like, "Party at my house", "fashion show at my house". When I am at somebody else's house, or mine, there is always that one troll with the skateboard. If you try to kick him, even after he is off the skateboard it follows with this message "Please remove all skateboard furniture and try again." This is quite annoying. Here is a list of things that need to be fixed with the houses.

• Fix skateboard "glitch"
• Add house permissions*
• Options that can disable the use of gas, bombs, skateboards, etc...
• Option to disable player chat to people with out house permissions

*House Permissions, Works like gang permissions (Kick, Recruit, Etc..). Allows the house owner to give certian permission to a player, they would include things like,

• Kick
• "Ban" From house
• Disable talking
• Disable bombs, gas, etc....
• "Staff" "Boots" - Allows the owner and specified people to fly.

If this encourages staff to add these features, make them cost money in the shop.

Thats actually not that bad except the ban should have a certain time limit and staff boots are a fat no.

Actually ban from the house is a good idea. Who knows. What if there's multiple bad people. You can't wait freaking 5 minutes again. And the staff boots would be nice so people can place down furniture easier.

No the staff boots are named 'staff' boots for a reason and the ban could have a certain time limit up to 30 days to make it fair.

30 days? Most people that enter your house won't be playing era in 30 days.

No player house boot either, its most likely no, NEVER happening with the boots, its for staff use only and so what if they wont be playing era in 30 days? Your not proving any of my statements here wrong...

Doesnt make a difference, it's the powers of the staff and the staff alone hence the name staff boots. Its pretty much another excuse to "be an admin"

Not really. It would just give people the ability to do something in their house to make it easier. If it's only in their house so they can move around easy, then it's not like a huge problem really. And if you don't want to call them staff boots, then call them house boots haha.

Yeah no, its not being made or accepted by the admins that actually work their. I know it would be fun but there are ways this could go wrong, not to mention the fact that changing the name of STAFF boots isnt going to change the fact that they have the power of an admin. Even if its in their house alone all they can do is either tap the players they want kicked and ta da problem solved. To be honest players and their houses are powerful enough and this in my opinion sounds like an excuse to be admin like.

How could it go wrong? There are plenty of ways that they could work around any problems that happen with it. For instance: only use it when no one else is in the house. So that they could rearrange their furniture easier. Really all staff boots are going to do is just let people walk on the walls in their house. Which in my opinion, could be really helpful for if you have a lot of furniture and you want it to be moved to a speccfic spot.

Poetic, if you think about it theres a reason why on classic when you had the ability to pull your furniture to get off the map that it was fixed because people would pretend to be admins. In Era's case however, SnK isn't going to even try to give normal players not to mention the really immature ones the ability to walk on walls. The reason this guy even posted this thread on Graalians is probably because it wasn't happening on era. If a furniture piece gets stuck zoom out and its all fine. If they do this idea, well damn to me but I doubt.

Or to "go behind a "bar"" in your house without letting people in.

You can already do that, obviously quickly move the furniture and move it back, now your definetely showing me that your lazy. If you cant move things with nothing but a click or touch your lazy. Meaning this argument over the boots is meaningless.

Lol all games have glitch so the boots can be glitched also example A player is in his house using boots then he glitched out of his house and still have boots working on the map so bad idea for the boots.

Yeah, I have had the thing with the skateboard, and actually, I have trolled people for an hour before (trolled a guy named-General Ceaser, if you want to ask him) and what you do to kick people out is, click "Kick" then do it again REALLY fast, it will make them off-board, then kick them again, and it should work after that.

Works if your on iPad or PC...

If the solution of a staff boot feature is being suggested to tackle the fact that it's difficult to position furniture properly in your house on smaller screens, perhaps some changes need to be made to the way you position furniture? A screen dragging feature might be a good idea so you can focus on certain parts of your house and place furniture there instead of having to move your character.

If you want this to reach the Staff Team, make sure you post it on era-go, as-well as this would decrease the rate of negative comments coming from players from another server.

About the furniture placement, we were thinking on making it work for decimal locations soon enough.

It wouldn't be a way to be an "admin". Everyone would know about it, there would be no way to say that.

So if I walked on, had an admin head and more and then started flying and you actually did do what I say, you'd be pretty darn dumb to know its me. Never the less thats not my point, my point is that people don't need something as pointless as that for simply moving furniture when their can be another way to fix those annoyances. And please don't try and change the subject to "but they wouldn't be admins".

I know what you mean, then people would say "Friend me" in your home, and just Gain access that way, good idea, but seems a bit too much to handle lol.

Okay so now your doing it, like I said it would make them feel superior but not in any bad way, its the fact that the boots arent needed AT ALL for such a thing so small.

You are just being stubborn. Everyone would know about this feature. There would be no "fake admins".
