New Stables
 

Hey lads. Thumbs up to the scripting artists and graphics artists for making the new horstables, in my opinion they look amazing, they even have circular shaped bundles of hay and it's not every day you see round shapes in classic. What do you guys think of this new update? Oh and the new horse looks amazing.
P.S. The furniture in there is pretty cool.

I must agree. Very happy we all got the mount display furniture we where waiting for well worth the wait and the 5k. The other stuff looked cool as well. Makes me wish there where some more theme-ish player house options. say idk like a farm house.

On another note I really wasn't surprised when I got on and seen the update in the news feed and rolled over to the stables to see 700 ppl just idling outside the stables wasting valueable bandwith. I'm getting a little tired of this every single freaking time some new update is rolled out. Every body and there cousin has to roll over there and sit idle out side the newly released or updated area with there code shop shields advertising there lame "code shop mazes." I really wish admins would swoop in and clear the area of the ppl just there trying to get ppl to go in their house and bomb there stuff for them.

Just once I want to enter whatever new thing and not have to fight through a pk riot,advertisers,and the lag caused by both things. Is it to much to ask for a buffer to block out messages from other players so you don't have to see them with out the players being blocked?

What the heck is the hay bale for? I still have to jump off my horse to leave my house? Hay bale doesn't seem to serve a purpose...

I think its just a cosmetic furniture piece and has no real purpose other than to sit there and look pretty.

How about an RPS in the new stables for a cowboy hat from that old nexus collection (which I see those cowpokers are already wearing in there)...?

Please note admins, some mounts (like the owl mount) don't have a head from the backview since normally that's where the player would be. Now it's noticable so maybe you want to fix it.

Ya please do post any mounts you feel have very obvious/bad lead alignment as they have to be adjusted for individual mounts.

I also saw the gargoyle, the chinese new year dragon, the dark horse with purple eyes and the gorilla don't seem to have a head from the backview.

I don't see anything wrong with the alignment of the rope on the chicken.

Well my concern is mostly with the alignment of the rope, not the graphics. However I will see if these can be resolved. Though some, like the dark horse and gorilla most certainly do have a head.

The chicken looks like a bowling pin in the 'up' direction... a little red crest on there would do wonders... if you're resolving graphics :P

Just wondering anybody know if theres been a Cowboy body made yet? Or does anybody no how to make chaps?

No don't. I like having stuff that's different from everybody else. I want to stand out in a crowd not blend in. That's why I don't like running to new hat releases because every body else is buying,and wearing the same hats. Also there have been several times before when ppl have rejected my threads,or posts because it wouldn't keep items rare and they should be kept rare. I do realize that not all things that are supposed to be rare are kept that rare but at least they are harder to come by and everyone has them.

I had no intention of reselling the hats or the deer head. They were simply for decoration, as it would have been a waste of time reinventing the wheel when they already existed. It's also not really my place to resell the content that other developers have made at my own discretion.

eh, could you suggest other developers to make it an RPS hat. The RPS hats that were brought back were old hats why can't these be like that? And out of topic some Npcs in graal should become rps npc such as the person who sells hula hoops etc.

Because the old hats were RPS hats before. It is not my place to take content that was provided for other uses, and make it my own.
