Edit: wait, it seems the op verifies the possibility. Are the fountain donations for 100% guarantee for egg? Is there a specific amount to donate?

hmmm i had a feeling there would be loot eggs this year but havent seen anyone get one.

No troll. I'm pretty sure you get a random egg from the fountain, different people seem to get different ones. The looting eggs are very rare.

I haven't played in a long time, do I press before or after the exclamation mark? Im talking about the diving..

yes, it is supposed to look that fat, the mount is called "oversized bunny" in inventory

So I guess you can get specific eggs from multiple activities this year!

It seems the fountain is unique and just pulls one egg from the baddy collection for each player. I may be wrong, but this would make sense as the baddy eggs were some of the hardest to get last year.

Also, can you cut grass to get eggs (instead of bombing)? Or am I misleading everybody . . . :unsure:

Bandit chests, purple chests, and diving all share the same items. However, bandit chests dropped from bandit leaders have a higher chance of rewarding a rarer piece of loot.

I started with no loot, got exclamation points/loot 36 times, and still not a single egg from looting. Is there some sort of trick to this???

last year it took me 14 hours
if you're curious about how much time/effort it'll take, this year it took me around 8 hours, 900 baddy kills, 312 looted junk, probably ~700ish bombs

I personally wouldn't recommend looting
if I had to redo it, I'd start on the cliff to the left of Sardon's roof to get all of the buried/spawning eggs, then I'd bomb grass in guild house, then I'd finish off grinding the Bandits for hours because they drop a lot of different kids of eggs and it's just more efficient than looting from my experience
when I'm left with 3-5 I can't obtain, I'd start trading for them

just kill them and they'll randomly drop

You can get egg #21 by throwing gralats in the fountain

After all this time an hard work its sad to see people who can't get one or two eggs nit get anything for dedication :/

I HAVE BEEN LOOTING FOR FOUR ****ING HOURS AND ONLY HAVE ONE EGG. THIS IS ****ING BS, I HAVE BEEN LOOTING AROUND THE WHOLE MAP WITH 6 EGGS LEFT AND I CANT EVEN FIND ONE ****ING EGG BY DIVING. THIS IS SO BROKEN.

what made it go quicker for you this time around?

Not eating or drinking for 8 hours straight. Starring at the pc/iphone screen for 8 hours straight and help from friends.

just experience from doing it last year, last year was my first time and I went into it not knowing what to expect or do to get all 50

going into this one, I had a good feeling that eggs would be "categorized" similarly as they were last year, so right when it started I went to the same place that I went digging last year (cliff beside Sardon's)

then I also figured eggs would still be in tall grass, so I went into the right level in The Zone where there was a huge patch of grass and I was there alone for about 20 minutes

last year, the hardest part was grinding out Pyrats for the last eggs, so that's where I immediately went next and realized it was packed, then I decided to try Bandits and just stayed there until I had a few eggs left, I traded for the last ones left

I don't think this year was any easier at all, it just helps a lot to have a good idea of what to expect
I started an hour after the FB post but finished 2 hours before the person who came in 2nd, and that person finished about 2 hours before the surge of people who finished 5th-7th, all 3 of those players finished literally within 2 minutes of each other, so ~12 hours was probably a decent time for this one

I need 18,32,50!!! Any ideas where these are I assume water cause they kinda rareeee

something worth mentioning is that if you are farming the grass eggs from your guild house or house, you don't wanna do it on grass tiles that have locked gralats
me and a few friends did that, and the gralats disappeared if an egg spawned on top of them, would suck for anyone who had a gold gralat or higher

This should be fixed now, we didn't intend on having eggs spawn from grass in houses.

You're in luck! I happen to have one from the very little egg-hunting I did.

Tip for next year: Save the egg in the MoD Fountain for last, assuming your donation will give you a random egg you need.

I actually was in luck an looted the last exact number I needed 18!! Thanks tho, I didn't sleep for 24hours an was workin 6 1/2 hrs of it, I was zombified lol

I very much enjoyed this event, it reminded me of the ichor quest in pocket legends, but that took for evvvverrrr, now I have mount most people won't have, feels nice, thanks again to Zed and my Guild (Dark Assasins) for helping in anyway :)

In tossing gralats at the mod fountain, when you threw the higher gralats, the higher rate of getting an egg? Coz I'm always tossing green and red.

Just a suggestion for next year (although surely this post will be forgotten by then) is to maybe hide eggs indoors. Just from understanding the way eggs spawn, I believe the coding works in a way that you define a certain tile ID # that eggs can spawn on (which is why eggs in tall grass spawned in guild houses). If you guys threw in some house carpet/tile IDs in there, that'd probably add a little flavor to it and also spread out the player base a bit more.

Would be cool to have eggs under pots, however there is not nearly as many pots as there are grass/bushes. It would be chaotic.
