What do you guys expect from Zone?
 

So as we are all wondering how GraalOnline Zone will be (event if we have few clues) i had this question. What do you guys expect from GraalOnline Zone?

To be honest, i didn't really expect for Zone to be imported but more likely kingdoms..
Ill have to see when it comes out...

And also, im really disappointed that they're just importing servers instead of creating a unique server exclusively for iPhone/iPod/iPad :(

correct me if i'm wrong but i think kingdoms graphics has to be downgraded for file size or whatever .. I mean after all iZone is the old graphics

Tbh, I prefer classic style graphics anyway. Kingdoms and zone gfx are too weird lol

I know, the characters just disturb me.

I've heard such bad things about pc zone, why should anyone expect an improvement when ported to the apple products? Zone needs to have something new and balanced to survive. I heard there was a lot of pay to play features and items disappearing in the past. Server suicide...

Of course not their is never gonna be a a graal better than era.

It's a decent server in my experience. It's just empty. I'm sure when they adapt it for iPhone they'll fix up the bugs.

You've had since '03 to adapt to Era, how long does it take you to adapt to a server?

I think iZone can be better then iEra and iClassic, just the characters look the same.

i frankly like the look of the gk/zone graphics, it is alot more realistic than heads as big as bodypies on classic/era lol. The problem with zone was that most of the stuff you needed to USD to get and it was a purely arena PK sort of game. Everyone on iPhone loves to ring up their mothers' credit card so that shouldn't be a problem tbis time around and the feel of zone should have a nice alteration on the setting classic/era players have.

I'm expecting a lot from iZone because on pc it's a great server. In fact one of the best it's just desolate.

It was good. Also, iZone won´t be the same as the Zone PC. It´s like the server sri-lanka or how it was called. It´s an old server... . Maybe I can find some old screenshots.

All well I'm still hoping it'll be good ^_^

I expect iZone to be the same as PC Zone: free-to-play with perks you can guy with real money. Wishful thinking.

Zone is not as social as Classic or Era. It's just killing, killing, and more killing. It's all you do unless there are events being held. Not being able to upload your own outfits and the lack of social activities will probably be enough reason for most people to stay with Classic and Era.

It's already been said that iZone will be using the the same character models as iClassic and iEra, so customization will be just the same.

Hopefully there will actually be something to do?

Pretty much the reason why I can only play graal for no more than 10 minutes at a time before getting bored of the redundancy of in game activities or lack thereof.

There are different planets on Zone that act as different game modes.

Iricia is a snowy planet with two teams: Sweep Fleet and Storm Troopers. The teams fight for five bases spread across the map.

Zone Wars is like Star Wars theme light vs dark where you have to destroy the other side's power generator.

Guild Wars is a team death match.

Alpha is simply a killing map. you can join one of the three Alpha map teams or go solo.

Spar is self-explanatory.

Koth is a team king of the hill map. Four teams, but only two were open on PC.

Wildcross is a solo death match, where the winner gets a nice big statue after each match and tons of money, exp, and bounty.

Bunker is a planet where there are two teams that start with no weapons, and you have to explore to collect weapons to take bases that reduce the other team's score (like Dominion on League of Legends).

Platform/Event Planet is a platform (gravity) planet where two teams just slaughter each other until the planet closes and everyone is kicked.

There's a CTF map, and I don't remember the name of the planet. :( But it had hidden bunkers and stuff. It was pretty neat.

Not sure how many of them will be kept though. <_<

I hope they keep all of that it sounds awesome.

I worked on shang, it's too bad s64 died, that server was pretty neat.

iEra will still be my home, even though i will be PRAing both.

As long as the staff is proffesional and doesnt give free stuff out or ignore players, plus having much easier-to-get weapons, itll be fine.

You're really moving up in the world.

Most weapons are free. It's not like Era.

You pick a class on a planets' dropship. Each classes has a bunch of weapon to use.

Any weapons that you do buy are call Gelat weapons which cost real currency and only last 10 days to a month.

oh god I pray that's not going to be the business model for Zone...temp weapons for real money.

Most of the weapons you'll actually use are already free.

Zone is supposed to be the first server where PC and iPhone can play together. I don't think it'd change too drastically.

How can of and iPhone play together when zone pc and izone have completely different graphical styles? Oh btw the latest screenshot has a no pk sign which Has its chances of pointing to a open, nonlinear world like iEra/iclassic, which I would consider drastic changes.

Wtf are you talking about? Who knows in what ways this one will stray away from the main server? And if this pleases you better, I guess that it could mean that some planets have pk areas... But then again, there's a ladder in the corner, which must go somewhere, cuz it doesnt look anything like the drop ship levels on pc.

If that happens, izone will die just like it did on PC.

The only things i would like to see for Zone is the platform style deathmatch and the awesome mini games it had (like jetski racing).. If its just gonna be a iEra expansion with several new layouts for deathmatches/sparring, i don't want to bother with it at all

Like Cat said, It is a decent server but its just very empty. I definitely dont know what to expect to be honest. I'm excited though haha :D

PC Zone died because of the non-Gold restrictions, attempts to prevent laming, and corruption in the staff members.

And itll still die of that too, thats whats been happening with iera and iclassic lately.

i think izone would be better then classic and era. i mean yes its like era in space but i think we could all get a new graal game to play.
