Reset Spar Option
 

I think that there should be an option to reset your spar record. Zone has it: it requires you to pay 2.5k gralats in order to get your spar reset. I think this should be applied to Classic as well. Some people don't like their spar score and they'd like to restart from scratch, some people have such a bad record that they want to start over (ex. 100 wins - 1000 losses) and some people just don't like having a spar record in their stats. What do you guys think? It'd be a nice addition so people (like me) who really don't like having any kind of spar record to have the chance to reset it. It could also allow other people to reset their score if they feel like they need to start from scratch again. Thoughts?

I think if added it should be a one time offer.

If you can do it multiple times a lot of nerds will reset, boost, fail at boosting and reset, repeat.

You have to reach 10th Prestige (10,000 spar wins) before unlocking the option to reset.

and you get an unlock coin, allowing you to unlock your weapon of choice!

Don't like it. Could add an option to hide your spar record but I don't agree with resets.

It has it flaws but this idea would increase spar activity and make people happy. I hope this is added.

The system is intended to show how skilled you are at Sparring. Not how skilled you are at cheating the system.

Your record does not intend on how good you are now at sparring. Just shows how many times you can win and lose.

Which reflects your skill at sparring.

I don't care what anyone's record is, but I know that allowing this would just make the spar community even more angsty, whiney, and annoying

people resetting until they achieve some unrealistic ratio that doesn't accurately represent their skill level, more rage due to the pressure of not wanting to hurt their shiny new record and reset again, more people intentionally avoiding good sparrers, more excuses ("I was 2000-5 before I reset"), etc.

I agree with the idea of being able to hide your spar record. That'd probably work better than this idea.

No offense, but this is a terrible idea. People who aren't good will go grab up a very unrealistic ratio and claim they're better than everyone. Very very very bad.

What about an option to show how many times a person has reset their spar?

OT: just boost on purpose like greenarrow and you will get a free reset.

What if they reset just your wins?

Write in your status "going to be the first player to have 20k loses" then boost your loses until you get reset. Make sure you have your friends report you for boosting loses.

if a spar reset is so important to the individual player they can take a 1-2 month ban. i dont think they would delete someones account completely.

Reset hours too pls. It's embarrassing to have 30,000 hours on this game.

only supporting this if you're limited to resetting a single time
think it's best if it isn't implemented at all though, or if people are just granted the ability to hide their spar record - at that point, profiles start to get really boring and blank

this is the second worst idea in future improvements right now.

this means people can repeatedly reset themselves and selective spar then pretend they are good. we need less annoying people, not more. no thanks.

This is disgraceful. Who hit themselves in the head with rocks and thought to themselves "I want spar resets."? You should go check yourself into the hospital and tell them what you did. I would shove my foot up your ass, but you would enjoy it. F-uck you and your ideas.

We could put a limit maybe? You can only reset your spar once and that's it.

Thanks for explaining in a nice way why this idea won't work. I can honestly tell that there's something wrong in your head if you're saying these things to other people. I don't know what makes you think saying "I would shove my foot up your ass, but you would enjoy it" and "f-uck you and your ideas" are ok to just say willy-milly, but if those words can easily just flow out of your mouth, then there is something legitimately wrong with you.

Spar and kills are one of the only things i can make fun of people that call me a noob/insulting word.they know i have a better spar record,also,would the reset spar make it possible to hack it so that it only resets the loses and the system forgets to reset wins or anything?

I don't see a correlation between your spar record and being called a delayer.
