Any news on when this server will be released?
 

Super excited for a new Graal server to play on and want to know a little info if possible :)

I wouldn't expect it anytime soon since there has been little info about the development of this server, but they should take all the time they need.

With all these AAA titles coming out I don't think it'll be out til next year, at best. Development is much slower when your running an entirely volunteer system and your management is apparently changing at the second highest level.

Development on the server is running very smoothly at the rate were going. I believe the reason why we don't give too much information on the server is to keep it more of a surprise, so everyone doesn't get too hype like past servers. Which, in a way, isn't a bad thing. But I can't answer all questions.

Yknow, I think rather than just giving a release date and delaying it you guys should just let us know when it's released so less people get pissed.

Even an estimate would make the community angry if you guys surpassed it.

Anyway, I agree. If we did give a release date it would have the community hype and excited. However, if it didn't release at that time it would just cause this constant fighting of "You guys dont keep your word for things!" or whatever they may say when something is stated.

From my view: I'm really excited for the release. As Graphics Admin I'm trying my best to find any images that need editting (because the original images were poop) and give them better quality.

My plan is to keep doing this (editting the images) then head to the tileset. There are a few things in the tileset that bug the living heck out of me; this will be last of my plan. Other than that I can promise it offers a lot of new features that other servers don't have (something new!) But, as everyone should know, there will most likely be bugs here and there. It is completely normal. When any game is released there will be bugs, unfinished work in some areas, etc. But yeah, hopefully you guys will like it when it does get released (:

I hope the art is good, the gameplay can stay similar, but the textures of the world make a huge improvement on customer satisfaction. Take delteria for example, I for one did not like it's art-style. The gameplay was decent, if it's art would have been better, I am sure more people would be playing that game right now. Good luck to you guys, take all the time you need. When this game is released, I'll be sure to take a look.

Hopefully the long wait means the server won't be an Era clone.

This thread isn't about delteria, but our anticipated release date wa son our server progress. We can't control when graal actually releases the game. Hence the word estimated....

Besides that hopefully I'll have time in the next few weeks to help Zone out, since most my projects are completed on Delteria. I'm looking forward to a pretty awesome release from ol'west. Just because the server has "Guns" doesn't mean it's a era clone, stop being stereotypical.

sweet can you make a script for mortars that disables movement when you place the weapon, moves the screen to impact point, has a massive freaking explosion that does like 20 dmg
