Gold Bars
 

Concept:
A gold bar which you can buy for 1000 gralats to place in your house.
Mostly for decoration purposes and showing off money.
Selling a gold bar would give you 900 gralats back.

No idea what the point of this is, won't a lot of furniture show off your wealth in a more appealing way than a ton of yellow crap stacked in your house?

The purpose of having gralats shown in your status can be used for the 'showing off' idea. Having a gold bar lying around isn't exactly what I call decoration. A lot of gold bars is a waste of space, money and wouldn't look appealing.

You should be able to sell it at the same price you bought it for so it could be used for storing money and also showing off to people

We lose bombs and arrows when we die... not gralats....

How so? Just because you wouldn't use it doesn't mean others wouldn't.

Because it's more of an exchange item and not ment to make you lose a lot of
money but just place it for a little fee of some sort.

How about a large walk in safe used as furniture that records how many gralats you have, then represents those gralats by adding one gold bar for every 1000 gralats, and adds one diamond for every 10,000 gralats, etc.

That way you don't need to buy the individual gold bars

It's a pointless idea. Therefore no one would use it (apart from you) I favour the idea in which you can store your gralats - this isn't storing it since you recieve less in what you 'stored'. For example, a safe or a 'piggy bank' which players can purchase would be more suitable. Not transferring gralats into gold bars; gralats aren't gold nuggets - and the idea of leaving gold bars lying around in the house is not decoration.

It would make sense getting more than half back if your money wasn't safe elsewhere. But the only use of this furniture is as furniture. So it should be treated like all other furniture.

If I've learned anything from a lot of things, it's that gold doesn't loose it's value (except at pawn shops). That being said, this idea doesn't really make much sense.

What if we had an item that would calculate how many gralats were in your housing level's farm and total it, giving you a nice tidy sum instead of making you guess and/or count?

I like the idea but then people that buy packs like mad would act as if they've accomplished something

I think this would be incredibly useful if it had one of those "Only the owner can use this furniture" and you could allow others to pick it up so you could pay them, for guilds or whatever etc.

Bad idea though that you would only get 900 back, then they are completely pointless

more money you spend on it the more is in it

if it costed 1000 and over it would prevent people from cheating

It would be really useful , farm donating is fine but it takes so much work
