I just noticed CoM is going to get 20k. So i thought, shouldn't they deserve something for their efforts. I don't really like the guild but 20k is ALOT! They should get something special like a custom morph or emote, emitter, something similar to gst item. What do you guys think, should they deserve something or what should they deserve.

They should get a building on the overworld and some fancy 2-3 player mount. And my homegirl Maeby should have her statue in the unstick me point above the graal city entrance. Best female player in iClassic's history and the smexiest too. <3

Xor confirmed that there was nothing for the 20k milestone when Maeby was lying to people and claiming there was to get them to tower for her, I do however offer them this:

oh well, maybe 30k is a prize. They should try it out

25k sounds like a more likely milestone. A statue in the memorial building would be kind of cool

By the time they decide to do a 20k journey past 10k, you probably have tons of loyal members and solid lead team with a lot of experience, all the pros be like omfg com has sooooo much hours, IMMA bandwagon on to them cuz they are pro and I am pro too :3... It's hardly any work other than th fact of leaving ur device on so incase anyone wants to attack u can protect.

I Enjoy towering I dont enjoy people making crap up just to hit a milestone.

Great job but you do have to remember they only have about 10% of the old members 90% are most likely new, reason why I wont go tower again with CxE is because I wouold have more new members than old and those old memembers even tho many dont know of them I know of them will be forgetten.

20k hours is approximately 833 days. This means that over 2 years straight of towering was done. Maybe the reward should be an actual social life in reality.

can't hate on someone just because they choose to play Graal a lot so you won't catch me doing that, but this is just one of those timesink achievements that really requires no redeeming amount of skill, intelligence, etc.
sort of like the Halloween event, except it lasted 5 years instead of 5 days

it's basically something that 50 other guilds could do if they wanted to dedicate the time towards, but you can't blame them for not wanting to because the only thing it proves is something that a lot of you in this thread have stated already

I wish the tower system was changed to a seasonal thing where only the top 3 guilds are rewarded every season
I guess I understand why it isn't though, because Graal operates better as a casual game opposed to a competitive one

anyway, it's still some sort of an achievement and if they did this because they wanted to be remembered on Graal then GJ, because I'm sure you'll get that at the very least

You aren't taking everything in to count here, for starters a good percentage of the guild is recycled players that play on/off at different times, meaning the players at 6PM have a chance of being different than the players at like 10PM. This meaning while some members are online others are offline doing other activities or sleeping, another thing to take into count is the fact the guild has young teenagers in it so even if they aren't on Graal there isn't much of a social life for them to have anyways, and lastly I know some of the people in the guild who are adults like Connor for example who has 18,000 hours yet he still has a balanced social and work life.

So technically, no it isn't two years of straight towering because the members will always be different at different times (aside from a few people who maybe play alot, but there is nothing wrong with preferring an online social life over a real life one)

Colin, just because you're anti-social doesn't mean it's right at all. It's actually scientifically proven that it's better to have a life outside of your petty roleplaying games. I have been very successful in life lately with not only my job, but my social life as well, which I'm sure you lack. There is so much you could be doing with your life rather than building a life on a video game. Can you make friends on a video game, sure. But it doesn't even come close to comparing to friends you can share real experiences with.

I only log on Graal during weekends, I study for my career choice every single day and already do work in my selective field as well as go out with friends on a regular basis, I also have an active romantic life outside of Graal as well.

I will admit though, about a year and a half ago I realized a majority of people in real life did not share common interests with me but some Graalians did, and I was always much happier spending my days Skyping these online friends all day, in fact it helped me discover who I was as a person, I still talk to Graal friends and real friends every day.

They used the people and provided them with false information, why would you congratulate them?

Because it's still an accomplishment...? It doesn't really matter how they did it, they did something that will probably never happen again. And idk how her members were dumb enough to believe her when she said there was a prize at 20k, they could've easily asked Xor. That's the members own fault.

What about Soul of Ninjas? They are only about 6-7K hours behind the 20K hour mark. Majority of the old members know there isn't a prize but the new ones were influenced to believe that.

It's still noteworthy regardless. Congratulations to Chain of Memories for this milestone in towering.

Fairplay to them for getting towers after rewards.. To be honest though the only reasonable thing I thought as a reward was to have a place dedicated to them(showing statues of the player and there names) that would always be there in graal whether they decide to call it a day or not. its always nice to have a memory left behind.. unlike when rogue(or something) left PULSE had the guild whiped of them and replaced with a default noob as ldr..for being first to 1k.thats still a shame that nothings there to really remember the players in the guild.
