Any shows better than breaking bad?

Just finished, and it was the best show I've ever seen. I'm worried that I just peaked in terms of my Netflix watching career. Any suggestions for where to go next?

lord greg 01-25-2015 07:54 PM

Have you watched Game of Thrones? If not I recommend giving it a go, for me it was one of the greatest shows ever.

AceMagus 01-25-2015 08:06 PM

The Office
Parks And Recreations
Malcolm in the middle

5hift 01-25-2015 08:29 PM

Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead.

Both are pretty overly popular shows, I'm sure TWD is on Netflix but not so sure about GoT.

TWIZ 01-25-2015 08:31 PM

Prison break is pretty good

Prison break is on its own level compared to Breaking Bad.

Kieran2820 01-25-2015 10:05 PM

Definetely game of thrones. It is my faviroute tv show of all time. A new series is coming out in like a month or two so get watching haha

Distorted 01-25-2015 10:53 PM

Oh I loved Prison Break.

I deeply recommend American Horror Story if you enjoy plots that always keep you on the edge of your seat. Despite its name, its not too scary just deeply involved with the supernatural to a point where it's a bit unexplainable. The best season by far is the second season if you do intend on watching it.

Dexter, if you havent

The first few seasons only, of course.

MrSimons 01-26-2015 02:14 AM

24 is pretty great if you are into really intense shows.

I've seen 1-3 of AHS, my favorite was coven due to the racial subplot. I am more interested in the series now that we know that

Spoiler

all the seasons are connected from Freak Show

But I haven't actually seen Freak Show because 1) it's not on Netflix and 2) I've been scarred by several Jimmy Darling gifs I've seen.

In my opinion:

The Sopranos: Epic mafia tale (without The Sopranos shows like Breaking Bad wouldn't be around)

House of Cards: U.S political drama, absolutely amazing.

Twin Peaks: While it's a little dated now, it's a mystery/crime series with a dark supernatural twist.

Colin 01-26-2015 05:24 AM

Community was pretty funny, childish Gambino has a lead role in it.

I was going to recommend American Horror Story, but I thought you wouldn't like Coven that much.

I would recommend Arrow if you're into the action/crime scenery. It's based off the DC character Green Arrow. New episodes air every Wednesday at 8pm EST on the CW channel.

Vivid 01-30-2015 02:35 PM

The Walking Dead

And epic zombie storyline in which Rick Grimes a police officer leads survivors into the world with his struggling friends and family.

Breaking Bad
And entertaining story of a chemist who is diagnostic with lung cancer and must overcome all odds to get a cure.

Man vs Wild
an Australian survivor, Bear Grylls works against the wild and overcomes fears that Mother Nature throws at him.

Regular Show
A cartoon comedy where a team of co-workers live an adventure life, at a park.

Tyler 01-30-2015 03:55 PM

Yeah... I have different tastes from a lot of suggestions here. My friend showed me a good amount of episodes of Parks and Recreations and it just couldn't get a laugh out of me and I laugh at everything. Maybe because it reminds me of the Office (which I also find boring). Right now I'm mainly watching Gotham, Flash, and Arrow which have all been enjoyable so far. I took a break from The Blacklist so I'm not sure how that's doing right now.

MattKan 01-31-2015 01:50 PM

I watched the first 10 minutes of Blacklist and was kinda meh. It just seemed really artificial to me. Should I go back and give it another shot?

Reno 01-31-2015 02:09 PM

No-one here (that I could see) mentioned True Detective, that show blows my socks off.

Can't wait for the second season.

Vivid 02-01-2015 01:37 AM

Oh if you haven't check out some free players and websites like http://www.MediaBang.org or http://www.Crackle.com. A downloadable extremely smooth and nice player called "Popcorn Time" is a bit like Netflix, but free. (link here.)

be sure to check out Grimm also :)

This.

Also, Dance Moms. Reality TV at its best.

Rockson 02-04-2015 03:39 PM

I'd recommend watching heroes, supernatural, and Psych.

MrSimons 02-05-2015 10:12 PM

Better Call Saul premieres in a few days.

Clown 02-05-2015 10:41 PM

I'm going to bring prison break back up again, it's a very good show. Very addicting, no episodes go to waste unlike Breaking Bad where some episodes were just an hour of boredom.

Vivid 02-06-2015 02:57 AM

Dad told me about Breaking Bad and I know about it but I never really watched it. Can't start from the beginning since it's not on air anymore.
