Hats for Anniversary
 

No, I did not create these, I just put em through a sepia filter because I thought it might look kinda cool for the anniversary... maybe for people who joined a year ago only?

Still looking nice ^^ And agreed that just players will get the hat(s) which played iEra 1 year ago (maybe people who joined till the end of January)

No. Why should just those people get them? Like me, I joined iEra right after it was released and also got the hat, but why shouldn´t I get the anniversary hat just because I´m close to 100 hours? I still keep checking it and stuff.

I got iEra on the first day it was out but, since I was at school in the morning when it came out, I never got the first 1k hat.

I was talking to Vman just before he quit and he said there was no way to check when you started graal. So that's why I came up with the idea of you have to wear the 1K hat to get the hats.

Actually there would be a way. But they would have had to set that up before they released it on the AppStore :/

That idea is horrible. You're wanting to celebrate Era's anniversary yet it seems like your more worried about the first 1,000 players. I purchased era the day of release. I however did not recieve a 1k hat due to being at work at the time it was released. If you really want to celebrate Era's anniversary then it should be up for grabs to ANY player that plays on era.

It should be for the fist 1000 players because they've stuck with the game for a year, sure, there should be other things available for the people who haven't been playing since the start, but, these should be priced items.

Like Jay said, some people were at school or work and therefore did not get it the hour it came out.
I think it would be a tad bit unfair to take away their 'prize' because they we're doing their job or learning, just saying.

Considering that 80% of the people with the 1k hat are just a bunch of classic players who haven't been on era in 300 and something days, I don't think it should be based on the 1k hat.

Ya agreed. We would be celebrating era, not the first players on era like what you're trying to do. That is the worst idea i've heard on here sadly. If you want to celebrate era then CELEBRATE ERA not the first players on era

You constantly repeat your statement. We can see, from many of your 500 posts in this thread with the same thing over and over, that you find froggys idea bad. You dont need to constantly remind the readers of this thread where you stand on this subject.

As for the rest of you who think froggy's idea is ******ed, dumb, idiotic, etc.
90% of the 1,000 First players, havent played past their first week. 5% of the reminding 10%, have quit sometime between jan.-june. The other 5% are the remaining Originals of iEra, therefor, for sticking with this game for as long as they have, they should be rewarded some way as the rest of the community can be rewarded in another.

As far as people being at school or working or whatever excuse you are using and couldn't recieve the hat, thats not froggys, mine, or any one elses fault/problem. It's similiar to events, they are hosted in the morning when i am at school or at night when im allready asleep. You dont hear me complaining that its unfair that no events are hosted while im online. Its my own fault/problem for not being on Era at those times.

I support froggy's idea, the ones who have been here all this time should be rewarded for their loyalty , along with the rest of the community recieving some type of other prize to celebrate iEra's anniversary.

The sheer amount of people that miss out on the anniversary items almost makes the anniversary hats pointless altogether because a very small minority actually get them.

1,000 players got that hat, it's not the fault of era's staff team that 95% of those 1000 no longer play.

I like froggy's idea of giving it to older players rather than newer ones but i'm disagreeing with era new's idea about the first 1,000 players only recieving it. Almost none of those players still play era. That idea is stupid because your celebrating the first players not era at all. Either way if it was celebrated more than likely it would be a celebration everyone can have. No need to show your stuck up self in these forums. I've seen enough of your bad attitude on era

2000 hats would well cover everyone, so I'm guessing 2000 hours

Maybe give it out to people that have something like a 2011 flag, or a nyan key, or some other currently unobtainable item. Maybe throwing icicles, seeing as they cannot be dropped.

Also, AP should determine which hat they get, and the other cannot be obtained, like with bunny quest
