Opinions on piercings?
 

What are your opinions on piercings? Some people have told me it makes you look like a **** and some have said it makes you look like a heavy metal grinder.
I'm thinking about getting hip piercings and need some opinions from some "honest, dependable and relatable people". #allinternetusers

I like most piercings, though hip piercings sound stupid to me. But too each is own.

They're cool and fun, but don't overdo it.

They're pretty nice in certain areas, just make sure to take care of it well so you don't catch an infection.

I see piercings as a sign of weakness.

I'm not a big fan on piercings, but lip and belly button peircings I quite like on girls.

If it's a normal ear piercing then sure, go ahead. I don't mind the tiny little ear pieces.

When you start stretching out your ear, putting gauges in your cheeks and piercing everything else (navel excluded) then that's just disgusting. Worst one being gauges.

I already have a venombite piercing on my lip (look on first page). I've gotten a ton of compliments and.. idk. I don't think it's so bad.

Well you can exploit anything someone says to make them look insecure. For instance:
Normal Version: I got earrings as tribute to my grandma that passed.
Exploited version: I got some weakness as a weakness to my grandma that was weak.

I personally don't like seeing guys with viper bites. Always makes me wonder who they're aiming to please with that. lol

The only piercing around the mouth that tends to look okay on guys is the labret, and only if they can't grow a soul patch. And honestly, I wouldn't even recommend that if you can grow any sort of facial hair, because most of the time you won't be able to grow a soul patch until your mid-20s anyway.

I think it's a form of art and expression, I personally wouldn't get any probably because too edgy to put holes in my skin and I don't really feel the need for them.

But, I think it's great people get them and I support it all the way, it's a personal choice and all personal choices should be respected (given it doesn't involve any form of violence, etc)

Maybe a few are not that bad. But some people just get excessive and get holes in their earlobes, put metal inside of there wrist, get a bunch of nose piercings, etc. If you overdo it you pretty much look ridiculous. A couple are pretty cute on girls though.

Honestly, the only way you can make yourself look like a **** is by acting like one.

Get a piercing or two but let's not continue to add to the current number of holes currently on your body.

I only like ear piercings on girls. Some guys can pull it off too though. I'd never get a piercing myself. Any other piercing I'm not really a fan of.
