So is classic asleep right now, we haven't had a content update in weeks and the last 1 were trashy hats (besides the ninja 1), what is wrong with the servers staff it seems their "endless" creativity isn't "endless" at all.

Onnet Store will open on the 5th for Cinco de Mayo, guaranteeing that. They are also probably making a themed Nexus right now, it normally opens around this time, and there is always a lack of updates leading up to it, so hey, who knows.

I remember the last few cinco de mayos on classic and when they open nexus that's my favorite by far lol

Have you not noticed that usually after releasing something new, something else new is typically not released for another few months. Thats done for a few reasons.

• It takes time to develop quality content, and always quality > quantity
• If new content is released too frequently that will begin to be considered the norm by players, when that stops happening you will get pissed and start complaining about how admins dont love you anymore.
• Its just generally bad to flood the game with too much content at once

Classic's staff are hard-working, talented volunteers. They are players like you, who have worked hard to contribute to a game they love. Unless you want to pay them to push out content faster, step down and be patient.

After five books and five seasons, we're still waiting for that winter.

When you have a staff that is all volunteer based I think it takes a lot longer to get content out. As someone who has played for a while this is how the game has always been as far as major content updates go.

If its anything to do with scarf i.e give to another npc or end up getting a morph/gralats/bomb/hat for it what a waste it would be..saying that even a new place would be a bore if nothing new (quests/mazes/activities-bowling archery guild ctf etcetc)

Sorry man, as a developer I appreciate the work that they put into the content released. I see reason behind defending volunteers who are making something for others to enjoy.

If you're gonna volunteer to be staff at least put the ****ing work in Jesus, I'm sorry but there's only a few staff that do actual work for the server and that work is a little like near to nothing. I'm sorry but if you're gonna volunteer for something like this you must at least be prepared to produce some good content.

Not everyone can contribute because like Xen said they aren't hired to be staff. The only time you would see players contribute is during Christmas. If you don't have a life, then go apply.

its not even as simple as that if you want to actually push graal further doing gfx/levels/ganis whatever alltogether (Dev) then you can't (On all servers) as none have apps for this only sectioned off to one thing. when there is people that can do more than that if they wanted to. so saying 'you do it yourself' etc doesn't mean that it'll ever be on the actual server and would be waste of time.

I really don't know why graal doesn't hire for Dev roles.. considering for years the ones in dev roles/highers haven't been updating as much of what players have wanted.(nothing against them they have lives etc. Im against not allowing more of them though (part dev roles atleast)as more would be done)

fair point, but my last post is pretty much why highers get the stick, as they leave it upto themselves to do stuff and don't have many beside them doing multiple tasks rather than the odd one subject to few levels/few hats etc when some of them are capable of doing more.. this is main reason not alot gets done as the team as a whole are only subjected to tasks of highers and to one paticular thing.(nothing actually against their work, just how most graal's are set out is flaw for progress imo)

Staff aren't paid, we aren't even really "staff," we volunteer our time and efforts. If you would like to see something in the future, please make use of the feedback button or apply for a position.

Donations for what? If you volunteered you should be more than willing to provide more content without monetary incentives. I think the forums are a perfectly fine place to express a concern for new content but I agree they should leave it in feedback. Even if we dont show it im sure everyone is glad to have you guys around releasing things.

There was barely any content when the game first came out on iPhone, All I remember was hats,PKing and Sparring oh and making new friends that's about it.

Yeah, content...not quality content. The higher the quality the more time it takes. Most devs decide it's not worth it and either go half-ass on everything or just stop working.

I honestly stopped playing the game for content a while ago, the last few things that theyve added I havent really enjoyed at all. Ive never even done the pyrat quest. Im more of a social player though. Is it really that half-assed?

i miss those days before they changed the tiles, before they had VIP, before it was even 2011. 2010 was the golden age. I remember glitching onto "Admin and Nimda Island", a land full of controversy. I swear man, I miss taking towers with Magic, Starvation, zZ FATAL Zz, and mostly AGK war section. There was this cool vibe that was always fun to have while playing during these days, everything seemed right. The moment when they gave out horses, the first Thanksgiving holiday shop in Onnett town. Man all of those things were so nice and I wish we could have a second chance to cherish them. When PULSE just hit 1K hours, when Slim became a GP, the biggest upset in administrative hiring history. When Rogue and Adogg were only GPs for a day, when NYN would have his cool parties (including one for his bday) at revolution, during my Magic days. It was all cool but man it's a shame everything comes and goes.

Did both these things. Repeatedly. Frequented the forums. Helped countless wayward new players. Not even a response after a dozen or more applications for GP, GFX, Leveling... Got a cookie, but that's not anything compared to the amount of time I have spent reporting/testing bugs and acting as a stand in faq where the 'information kiosk' and the 'tutorial' fail the 8+ target audience's reading comprehension.

There are gani and level editors. You can get them by downloading the PC client, logging in, and going to Start > Install Packages.

I don't know if the script editor in the level editor would work very well considering there probably wouldn't be any server connection to test serverside vs. clientside script execution.

Alternative tile editor that doesn't use Graal formats (afaik): Tiled Map Editor.

Can't think of any gani alternatives because Graal uses several different graphic elements within a single animation, whereas most games rely on sprite sheets.

For I devices? That's why I said app I don't have a computer just an iPad...
