Do you mind telling us who "he" is?

Zura 05-10-2015 03:43 AM

Sorry, he is Zombra, the leader of Illustrious.

Draenin 05-10-2015 06:13 AM

And he got your account how?

Yuri Keerpi 05-10-2015 07:26 AM

Well, first it was not stolen but you got scammed by Zombra's tricks. Your account wasn't really stolen. A player is responsible for keeping his/her account safe, you know that Zombra got reported a lot of times already but why did you gave him access to your account? Once a player registers to another computer the server will send a verification code to your email (the one you are using). Once you opened your email account and if you click the link that leads you to the verification code it means that the registered computer will be able to access your Graal account because you clicked it, and by clicking the link, it means you accepted it. And you cannot do anything but report Zombra or if ever he will revoke your account, he cannot access it anymore unless you will click another verification code that the server sent you. And all you need to do is start all over again. Next time never give your email account or Graal ID to anybody.

I find this kinda odd, because usually if someone's account got invaded due to account information leak, then the one invading the account wouldn't be punished because it's the victim's choice to give him the info. *At least, that's what I've seen as a player, not as a staff that actually knows what's going on since I'm not one* However, this Zombra guy has already been reported by multiple players because of invading their accounts and taking their items away, but no actions have been taken against him? This is real odd. o_o (No offense to the staff team, just wondering)

Lmao, can anyone just check his PM logs and if he did scammed, ban him?

Agonee 05-10-2015 08:47 PM

Why'd you ever give your email away to a person that you can't trust 100%

It's true Admins get worse but they can't just ban anyone because of spam reports lol, if that'd be possible all delayers would be banned for using "VPN"

Zura 05-10-2015 10:31 PM

Well I didnt know he couldnt be trusted before it happened, I found out after. People were pming me saying he had done the same to them.

Agonee 05-10-2015 10:35 PM

Well m8 tbh, 3 people can log in on my acc and I can trust all of them o:

Zura 05-10-2015 10:45 PM

Update: Good news and bad news. His second account was banned, (Scamming took place on this account.) but his main wasn't. Great job admins ;) -Slow clap-

Belak 05-11-2015 04:29 AM

Shoot yourself? Real mature. Most of the people he scams aren't stupid... They're just gullible and young.

Yeah, because victim blaming is always cool.

I've seen cases where people have stolen dozens of accounts through pretty clever methods, so it's not wise to assume everyone knows every trick in the book already. I only asked how the account was hijacked because the perpetrator might have been using some method that hasn't been tried much so far.

Dusty 05-11-2015 11:19 PM

"Yes, I'd like to report a man for robbing me. Yes, a stranger came up to me and said "can I see your wallet, please? I'll put $500 into it!" And I gave it to him, and then he walked off!"

The issue is that most people who are "hacked" aren't hacked or phished or anything like that, they simply give over their accounts when someone offers them an "awesome deal" like filling their house with gralats.

I'm not saying that people who are caught trying to scam personal data/accounts shouldn't be punished... but this is something people need to learn to stop doing.

Belak 05-12-2015 03:47 AM

Also the fact that there are numerous mesages saying dont give anyone your account it is a scam and people do it then i blame them....
