You can catch Fishies now.

The fishing shop can be found on the New island in the Middle East of map

How to Fish:


1. Equip your Lure and Press fire button after that you equip Fishing Rod.
2.Tap on the place where the bobble should land.(Hold for longer throws)
3. Wait till a fish takes your bait, and keep tapping to reel it in.


Better rods attracts the fishies more.
Better lures (when you reached the minimum level) will make you be able to fish more Fish Types.

I'll give some information on the fishing job that people might find useful.

• There are currently 7 types of fish, and I'm sure more to come in the future.
• You only need to buy each lure once, but the fishing rods have durability like picks and axes.
• The starting lure can catch salmon and carp, which are found mostly in ponds and streams.
• The advanced lure can be purchased at level 20, and lets you also catch tuna and sardines, which are mostly found along the north shore of the big river in the middle of the map.
• You can use the expert lure starting at level 40, which lets you catch clownfish and fire fish along the south shore of the big river.
• At level 60 fishing you can buy the master lure, allowing you to catch all fish, including the bubble fish found mostly around the center island.
• The more expensive rods have more durability, and also make it easier to catch fish. The fish will see your lures from farther away and will see them even if they lure isn't right in front of their face.

"Big Mouth" Bill in the fishing shop has some additional tips if you can stand being around him long enough to hear him out.

Ohhh, is this why I couldn't seem to catch anything in the sea? Was trying for ages but couldn't catch any fish, maybe I should give fishing another go...

That is probably the case. I added a message now for fish you can't catch with your current lure to try to stop that from happening to anyone else.

Maybe add a Fishing Tank as a furniture for graalians to display their fish (Like the bugs):blush:

The technique in fishing is by tapping. There is a limit of range, which is cool.

Maybe we could cook them and use them as food? We could equip the fish we want to cook in one slot and flint and steel in the other. Light the fire and equip the fish, then grab the fire. The fish will appear ontop of the fire and will cook for 1min. The fish will give you 25hp when you eat it and the ash will still come out of the fire when finished

I vote for a cooking skill, might make food have a value finally.

How about a digging skill, where you dig up fossils..

Also when you cast the gui should be invisable so you dont bump the buttons...

The buttons are useless when you are casting your rod.

Also add at least 3 more fish 1 more lvl 60 fish and then 2 lvl 80 fish that need another lure. Because it doesnt take to long to get to lvl 60 and then you are stuck with the same fish for like 40 levels wich is around 13million exp....
