I got a blue shoulder pad hat a wizard hat (yellow) and a nicely shaded updated G cap.

I got a blue shark hat, a black and white amish hat, a fox ears hat, a yellow wizard hat, a blue jelly fish hat, 1888 gralats, a green horse, a unicorn, a big bed, a Christmas bear, a red umbrella, some egg nog and candy canes, and a key block.

people can buy others gifts. I had a total of five. 1 from staff and 4 from others. 2 were just candy canes (heal you then go away, worthless.) 1 was an umbrella and 1 was a hat. and one was 198 gralats(from my friend arkaz, he said he spent 800 on it)

So yeah, glad I didn't overdo it on the presents. They were mostly lame.

The gift is more a chance. It what you want most of the items that were given were never sold/resold/cost around 400-800 gralats. The most common present was gralats (in return seems good cause you get gralats back). The more exclusive things like things that were never sold are probably the hardest to get. The items that were sold and taken off are under that, then comes items now sold, then gralats candy cane and egg nog

Then there is also the super gifts that improve the chances of getting items

It's not a chance, it's a neat little way to say tell your friends, "Merry Christmas! You were on my mind today." If you're really gonna stress about your contents then kudos to you, greedy bastard.

No, but that's how much they are priced in the item database.

So why does it matter to him how much it any of it is worth if he can't profit, because it doesn't sound like he loves his umbrella all to much.

Because his argument is value, where the value of what he received exceeds (by 2-4 times more than) what was paid, and this is the case for pretty much everyone. I don't know how ANYONE could possibly expect something perfect from them in a random gift box either. If you truly held that belief when you received a gift.. I don't even know what to say.

He hadn't paid though, someone else did unless he's lonely and gifted from a second account. I think what he was looking for in the gift was something of some sort of use, maybe not a magical perfect item but something with purpose.

I got like 3 hats,A statue where you set it as any npc (which is the best of all the presents I got) gralats,eggnog,candy cane,and furniture.

The money and "consumables" act as a necessary balance to the hats, items and furniture that are way beyond 400-800g. That is why they are there, not because it was planned to rip people off. It was either that or the price of the presents would have been shot up quite substantially.

Anyway, I've derailed the thread enough.

They were gifted by 4 friends of mine and the default one. I also gave away 6 gifts.

Egg nogg gets you drunk and the screen starts to move around.

He dresses up as whatever he wants, then places the npc statue.
And the npc becomes what he last wore, He would have to update the statue if he wanted to change its look.

XD Yeah it's really cool there's an option where only I can set it or I can let others set it (friends,guild members etc.) now my spar tournaments will be a lot more interesting lol.

Nevertheless, I'm happy with what I got; a horse, grey umbrella (not the lost desirable color xD) 5 x Eggnog, 178 gralats, 196 gralats.
I gave 30+ gifts. 5 in return. Don't care. Just happy others are happy.

I got a pink and white winter hat, antlers, witches brew, big stuffed bear, a blue sun hat, the unicorn horse, and lots of gralats.

I got gralats, 5eggnogg, green hula-hoop, zebra bed, snowflake hat and leaving the best till last Health vase.

I got $153, a demonic hat, unicorn, umbrella,snowflake hat, and candycane.
