Old Zone Leaderboards

Hey was wondering if anyone knows where to find the old graal zone leaderboards. Since Zone was deleted all the stats and the leaderboards got erased with it, not sure if anyone has old screenshots or a website that has these stats? If you could help it'd be greatly appreciated! :D

Very unlikely to find them. Last I remember you still stood around ranks 1-5 on most of the things that you used. I never got to go beyond rank 16 for the photon though :(

Last I checked, it was removed from the list, but not erased. You can still manually access it.

Not anymore. For the past while trying to connect to Zone redirects you to iZone. Tried it now with the same results; connecting to Zone iPhone > client rejected

^ what she said, unfortunately :(

is the zone iphone game similar to the old one at all? are the planets all still there n stuff like ircia, koth, deathmatch, alpha, etc. n is it all the same guns?

It's a giant shopping mall.

Poizike 06-06-2015 11:01 PM

Pretty much. Doesn't help that the majority of iZone staff think that the original Zone failed on its own and believes that how Unixmad/Stefan ran things were a small problem.

More or less. Large focus on hats, furniture and joke weapons. There are squads which captures bases and hold them for time. What do they get for doing so? A HAT!

PvP for the most part is pretty bad, but with the removal of infinite ammo and GiT tinkering a bit, PvP is a bit bearable now, though there's only 3 classes with little variance.

Because iZone was created?

Poizike 06-07-2015 01:15 AM

LMFAO wtfffffffff. what an embarassment to what zone used to be. that sounds like UN to me, just collecting hats and what not. how unfortunate :(

I can't compare the two because i've never played the phone version. But i can attest that in the glory days of zone is was a wonderful, healthy community that was very interactive and i have no clue how the game became unpopular. maybe because graal was a 2d game and newer technology brings in better games, but im surprised that the graal community didnt stick around. and i dont know much about stefan but when zone was around i remember seeing him regularly in game, talking to people, and he was always sharing news about the game and whats hes doing to make it better. to me it seemed like the people who were running graal were passionate about the game and actually tried to make it better, but thats just my opinion.

GlazeyB 06-07-2015 01:21 AM

Okay. Let's take the nostalgic goggles off, shall we?

Zone's community wasn't that great and was extremely cliquey, if you were not apart of one of those "groups" you were pretty much treated like ****. My group of ****tards, Dutchies, Oldbies, and smaller condensed groups.

Stefan rarely logged onto Zone, talked even less to its playerbase, didn't say anything about was he was doing or planning.

No one in Graal's upper management is passionate about the game, money is what they're passionate about.

PC Zone was removed not because iZone was created. It was there even iZone was even born.

It was removed because it had no players through the entire time. It was not ours, that was the problem. It was already decided by the management because no one was playing it, or even developing it.

Too bad, most of the weapons are buyable using Gelats.

The problem was gelats. It created a major pay-2-win gap and turned a lot of people off. Things like pipebombs only being purchasable through gelats or hell, the sniper rifle was obvious pay-2-win....

Poizike 06-07-2015 03:21 AM

i never payed for gelats once, i won my items through the events. i think you could have just a great of experience being a free2play player as a member. n yeah if they made the people who play the game everyday admins and ETS it would of lived alot longer.

I was down to be ET but no one trusted me ;)

The only groups that were anything on PC Zone was Mastermind, and Xanadu. The old Zone was actually bearable. I enjoyed the competition, and chasing Dante down for his bounty. Let's put Stefan aside, and look at the Zone management back then. It wasn't that bad, until Gelats came into play, and taking away Lifetime Gold. Money became the subject, and they are still getting it while these rookies pay $200 for Gralats.

Interesting, thought I was only one here that could talk about the history of PC Zone to any substantial level. Who were you?

Typh, Tench, and myself were the only ones who made anything for themselves. History lesson here, my ****tard group was the first one ever to win a Guild vs Server event on the Guild Wars planet when it was first released. Server was jammed packed because that was the last biggest update Zone ever saw, aside from the spar world revamps. Few weeks later, was asked to drop that group and join Xanadu. Regret that one, big time.

Zone management was pretty bad, the entirety of it. Mostly because of Stefan's grip on it. Gelats was introduced much later in the cycle, to point where it put the server out of its misery.

Poizike 06-07-2015 04:20 AM

This was my clan back in the day
http://www.graalonline.com/playerwor...0&view=members
and i was in a bunch of other peoples clans too. i remember Dark (hujuwax's clan) and pluffy gang and some other stuff. to me Xanadu was prob the biggest one though. all these kids tryna put xanadu at the end of their name trying to pretend to be in it XD.
