Ol' West Poker
 

Hello Graalians! I'm Here To Introduce To You A New Idea To Add To Ol' West, Poker!

Anyhow, I've been traveling around the map and in multiple building I constantly see poker tables inside of building and I've always thought it would be a great addition to the game!

I believe there could be a special building such as the trade tables where there's multiple tables and to join one you must grab the table, each table has a different set stakes for betting gralats and each table has limits to fit each player!

Players could even buy a poker table as furniture for their own houses to play poker with friends and play privately!

Some benefits include:
*Way for basers/gangs to take a break and play poker together fun fun
*Betting gralats could be a hit or miss for gaining gralats
*Those random poker tables around the map could be put to use
*People who have extra gralats to spend could have a good time with poker
*The table limits are perfect for each player who either wants low stakes or high stakes so that players don't easily lose gralats!

I wouldn't care how long the programming would take I would just love this to be added to Ol' West and I want to hear some of your opinions and if any admins are reading this tell me if this is possible

The gralat betting thing might be an issue.

Some asshole would find an exploit that ****s up the whole thing and gets a ton of gralats unless somehow they log each poker match and then could check out the shady stuff.

Well, one the gralat system has been patched, and the fact that the game is server-based makes the hacking even harder and also there would probably be a log on the side showing what each players actions were and which cards were drew

I like this idea but its been suggested just not in as much depth but there should be an entire casino with poker rolett and blackjack....

Well I believe that fact that I put more detail and depth admin and players could understand the concept easier, and I recommended poker because they already have mechanics and tools for it already like the tables and they even have a virtual version of poker on graal online

Well i just think an entire casino would be nice because there where casinos in the old west.

That would be nice I'm just saying poker would be easiest and to me should be first priority

This idea is amazing, I just saw you around start, so thought i'd look up. But yes, the gralat betting should have a limit to how much you can bet, and can only bet once every hour to stop cheating the system with other accounts. But I think this idea would go well with a whole casino and game building, so it's not poker all the time xD.

Yah exactly what I was thinking but just to occupy people while the admins continue to develop I thought poker would be a good first step to keep players busy and stop complaining

Yeah, I really need something to do that would keep me busy xD

Kinda weird how I introduced this idea a long time ago lmao. Not sure if this will be implemented until a long time from now. But yeah, I referenced PuzzlePirates as well awhile back with this idea.

I personally think this would make ol west even more "popping",original and definitely 100x more fun i also think like u said basers may get bored usually there is a table in every base except mohawk. so maybe since basers get bored but they also want GP u can add poker tables in the bases, of course this is just my opinion and this would be fantastic to me. I also love the idea of having a building like the trade tables put its poker tables. i would also suggest to edit the poker table to look more like a poker table, usually poker tables are round like a circle not square but yes great ideas. PLEASE ADD THIS

I'd actually log onto ol west for once just for this.

Yeah I feel this could be a promotion factor as well for more players to come back and play

Problem bout this is the game would then be not for Everyone since its gambling :/ but I love the idea

I don't see that being a problem. Basing isn't for everyone either, but it is a very big part of the server. I always liked the idea of a casino in Ol' West. It fits the theme really good.
