Logo Design
Hi, i'm trying to make a logo for a friend of mine for his twitch and am kinda stuck for ideas. He uses the name dracula, so I wanted to go along with that theme with vampire fangs, and I wanted to keep the logo pretty simple, with a very basic design, so I mocked up a concept with a few variations on it, and want opinions on which one is the best and what I could add/remove to it.
I tried to add blood onto the fangs but it kind of ruined it to me, so instead I added red shapes behind them, where cracks in the teeth are so they weren't as dominant Spoiler

I actually really like the design, good work!

Love the bottom left.
|
Really, really nice work! ^^
I would go with either the bottom left or the top left. |
Bottom-left :)
|
I like top left better than bottom left imo
|
I like the top right
|
Thanks, well I settled on bottom left as more people prefferred it. Going to make a wallpaper sort of thing to go with it that I will post for advice when I think of something

I really like the fangs alone, the red borders kinda ruin the feel tbh. makes a nice, simple and versatile logo more clipart−esque. From a design standpoint, I recommend using either of the logos on the right side and making the red more prominent.
Doubling up the border on the topright with another red border would look great too. The grundge design circle looks really 2012 to me and would look really bad when scaled down to fit Twitch avatars/icons/emotes |

Since this isn't my first twitch logo i've kind constrained myself since I want to make something unique for this guy, but at the same time I need to make it semi different to the logo I made for a mildly popular streamer. If this was my first logo, I probably would have used some of the things like the diamond shape from my other one, but I can't otherwise it would be too similar which was why I opted for the circle, but I felt just a plain circle didn't reflect the image. I also kinda like just having the plain teeth, but when I showed it to him, he liked it but wanted more. - just resized it then to 480x480 which apparently is the twitch profile icon dimensions and it still looks the same, even when I zoom out most of the scratches in the red border are still visible (This was my other logo) Spoiler
I might try edit the top right with just the white border, and do something to the outside of it similar to the teeth with the red shapes ------------------------ Not too sure on this one, don't think it fits well as a logo but I might be able to work those effects into an overlay/profile background Spoiler

i feel like there's too much going on, the simpler the better

^ agreed
@Sam At least make it a consistent pattern if you really want one, the grundge looks tacky imo. |
Wow. Amazing work, i see you put effort in it. I really disliked the red circle at the beginning but in the end i think it looks great. Good job.

Haven't posted in awhile but I have been busy. I've been putting together a website to use as a portfolio of my work and decided I needed my own logo to go with it. I wanted it to represent my style and reflect my name.
Using the letters of my initials SB I tried for a geometric type logo, not necessarily trying to accurately display the letters, but just to make a cool logo/ icon and this is what I ended up with. Spoiler
Not gonna lie I did hit a minor speedbump when I was designing it as it looked like a swastica, so I had to redo the spacing to rectify it. Next logo was for my friends website for an idea he is trying to make. He wanted a peacesign in it, and so I incorporated it on its side (their product is to do with a stereo system) Spoiler
This next wallpapers isn't original, but I saw its composition and really liked them but they were different sizes/not in high resolution, so I replicated them myself on a bigger canvas and in a higher quality. Spoiler
This wallpaper is a combination of tutorials, I made the background following a tutorial based off of the firewatch (I think it's called) game concept art, then combined it with a photo editing effect and then an abduzeebo tutorial for the ring in the centre. (And can I just say the concept art/wallpapers for firewatch are amazing, very inspirational for me with the colours and the style) Spoiler
Using the earlier tutorials I did my own original wallpaper that I submitted to music publisher channel "Proximity" on youtube that currently has just over 2million subscribers I think, and they used my wallpaper for one of their videos (second one they've used from me :3) the P logo in the middle isn't mine though, that's the channel logo Spoiler
Last one is just a photo manipulation for another one of my mates, he got a skyline so I made him something for his phone Spoiler

Excellent work!

These are fantastic! Are you still using Art Studio for your iPad? Is this the best product you'd recommend? I'm thinking about pre-ordering an iPad Pro when it's released, mainly to do art and work related things, and I was wondering what art apps are out there that are worthy!
Again, excellent job. I like your SB logo a lot. |

I haven't used any other apps besides that but I would say art studio and possible photoshop express if you want to add certain effects. Art studio is definitely capable of a lot of things, but you would be better off with photoshop on a computer, and probably be able to do things faster, I only use art studio for pixel art or if i'm at home since I don't actually own photoshop myself yet. I'd say art studio is kind of like a demo version of a desktop photoshop since it has things like your lasso tool, magic wand, custom brushes, hue/saturation/exposure edits, glow/shadow and burn/dodge/sharpen/blur, but they are not as easy to use and customisable like on the computer. TLDR If you plan on doing actual artistic painting/portraits then there are better apps than art studio, if you want an app that is good for edits/basic vector graphics and the best pixel art app on the itunes store then it's artstudio. ________________________________________ ANYWAY. This is another logo I made for another twitch streamer, yes if you have played runescape this will undoubtably be familiar, and you may even recognise who it is for if you are a regular in runescape twitch. Also speaking of art studio, this is the kind of vector type graphic you can do on it. Spoiler
