Thinking of starting zone
 

Era is boring as ****, Does anyone wanna help me get used to zone? I tried a little of it today and I am confused.

Well i dont play alot zone , for me the best servers are classic and era ;) ... Or just wait for delteria (on ios)

Im starting to think its hard to get people to join a forum

Do not play zone bro. It'll be the worst expierence of your life, trust me.

I just added FB connect to mine. We have over 2k registered members already. Just takes time.

What is squad your squad called?

It's most likely because the new map update made navigation a little bit harder. I suggest that you try Missions first, since that was the first thing that caught my attention when I first played Zone. Once you've done a mission,go for the next mission, the amount of gralats received from missions increase as you attempt missions that are higher than your current level.

I would recommend joining a squad or playing with a friend. Zone can be pretty lonely with such a small playercount, but don't get me wrong, I love Zone. :)

False advertisement, Tashkin just wants more players to join. He's Playercount hungry because zone has had 300+ players since its release.

lol zone hit 1k last year, but due to the lack of real updates (other than holiday stuff), and lack of entertaining activities, most of us left

Sadly another server was released two weeks after we hit that 1k. :(

I believe pre was like 250-300, now it's like 300-600

We went about 3-4 weeks with 800-1000 players online. Which was awesome until the new server release.

Idk about you, but I find it fun starting off fresh. Now as shmegg said, it's better if you have a friend who already plays zone, but Zone will be much more fun if you work your way up instead of being given everything (from trades) because you'll miss out on doing missions with noobs, and working your way to a squad that does missions together, towering, collecting trash at 2 am when no one's on so you can save enough $ to buy AP rippers or for the new holiday shop opening the next weekend, etc... Zone really has a lot to do, and a lot of cool stuff compared to other servers. And zone is still a young server so there's big gameplay ideas being added constantly. Another thing I recommend is you buy a robot in the near-beginning of your gameplay, at the very least they're extremely cool and fun to play with at the start, and then you can bomb spar, which is something entirely different than any other server has. It's also cool if you can get friends together and spar each other in dusk spar, where you can't see a thing except the space directly next to you. And if you like to base on era, you'll like it on zone too. I hope this just helps you to try zone and hopefully like it a lot :) Most of these things I said are things I actually did while working my way up in iZone, and I thought it's a lot of fun to start from the bottom, enjoy all the little things that experienced players wouldn't bother with, because those little things do get old after a while, like anything else, but they're the most fun when you're new to it. Anyways, good luck and I hope you do try zone and love it.
