So the mall came out earlier today, And I found it really disappointing, The design is confusing and the elevator is a awful idea (They should of known this because of the immature playerbase) and the shops are the same shops but moved but with 4-7 new hat shops.. that are ****ing awful and full of hipster snapbacks and beanies ****ty bodies (some ripped from zone). So personally i think its a shame that it didn't live up to the hype.

I think you clearly did not understand the purpose of the mall. It has been stated multiple times that it's there for all the old shops to clear up space on Era. Sure, they added a few new shops but the overall purpose was moving all the old shops in. Overall, I liked it and it's pretty cool.

this is also iera not era pc, so that could be a reason for it not being the same mall.

not the PC mall as in players can't host their own shops and sell their items for graalets. I would play iera if that was a thing

The elevator has two floors, even if people try to 'troll' it, you are going up or down either way. The shops are the same because they were moved there so new shops can be placed on the actual map, and you say 4-7 new hat shops as if that is nothing. There are at least 40 hats, and if you don't like beanies or the bodies then there is a store with around 20 gas masks (the mall was suppose to have urban clothes anyway).

The bodies that are 'ripped off zone' were made and put on era before zone was even released, technically zone 'ripped off' era. Mario and Jatz were wearing that black sweater body way back in early era, I even had it as a custom upload when uploads were first added to era.

And what 'hype' did it need to live up to? I said on several occasions not to expect much from it because it's primarily a place to relocate all shops, all the 'hype' about there being player stores and gun refunds were rumours made up by players, and I even said on era-go they aren't true

personally and imo i like the mall, and having all the old shops at one place sounds great, but i'm just thinking they should have a directory somewhere..

it's confusing especially since there are like 10+ shops and they're on different floors / areas. i kept running into walls thinking that there would be another area lol

I didn't say there are 40 beanies I said there were 40 hats. The guy was exaggerating anyway, there are only 2 beanies in the whole store and they are in the player made hat store. The hats include facemasks, fake beard, rainbow hat, backwards, forwards and a side facing caps, several types of gas masks, normal winged masked and glasses, a few original era pc hats, and then a few more random hats and bear masks

I admit, I was exaggerating. Some of the hats were nice and that burger statue was ****ing hot. But When You meant "Old stores" I thought you meant old holiday shops or even a couple of shops from pc era.

Old I meant old stores that are on the gmap. I was going to include actual old stores that are no longer available like the chinese new year store that had cool things like throwing chopsticks, the speed boost scroll and those different food items, but because of the hacker we had awhile back, finding old levels that are no longer released is a lot more difficult

I don't know anything about Monkey's shop, it's been in era since before I was staff, I just moved it into the mall because it's an old level. Are you sure they are even cocos? This shop was added in the early days of era being released, and I don't remember coco being graphics on classic back in 2011

You can change your skin back to the old crab m4 in the top right of the map where you buy the m4

I don't really know what people are expecting, everyone is happy when 1 new hat shop is added, yet even when we have 4, now 5 new hat/body/furniture/head shops, nobody really cares about them just because there are more old stores added into it than new.

You have to remember the mall was only worked on for a month, and was made really by 1 person with some help from 1-2 others

Sorry for being creative guys, the way we put the levels together is new and never been used before in Graal. That being said, it might be confusing at first but you will get used to it, I assure you.

I loved the level design. It was breathtaking. And I enjoyed exploring that! But the new shop items themselves were of ****ty to me

I think it would be best, so that it's not as confusing, if you made the mall a GMap.

This, and fix it on android. It's doing weird things with the areas layered underneath other floors, mostly not even allowing me to go in and out such areas.

That was the original idea but snk didn't want it as one so I had to work with what I had

It'll probably fix itself eventually, androids are too buggy and take too long to update

It's an urban/mafia themed game, what other kind of hats can we sell when we are trying to somewhat maintain a theme, wouldn't really make sense if we sold giant rainbow castle hats, and knights helmets like classic has

Our initial idea was like a 3 level gmap or something like that, but bossman wouldn't allow it

LOL so all of era's 1k hats are "urban/mafia" and I'm sure every mafia member runs around wearing a gas mask 24/7!

Most of the hats, if not all of them, are taken from classic.

I made the bunny and chihuahua hat before I was hired. They were hats I made back in 2011 and submitted though a guild I was in that was owned by Trigger (who, at the time, was the graphics administrator). They were sold in 2011 for easter (bunny) and cinco de mayo (chihuahua). Granted, the hats are old and they suck because I made them around the time I was first starting out with pixel art, but they're still something of mine that was used without my permission.

What's circled in red are my hats.
What's circled in green is Muse's hat, who was graphics staff a while ago.
What's circled in blue is a hat Stella Bella made (along with multiple colors), who was graphics staff when I was hired.
What's circled in black is what I'm not sure if I've seen them on classic or not.
As for everything else, I'm pretty sure I've seen them on classic.

This isn't the only case of era taking hats from classic. When I was the graphics administrator, there was more than one case of staff telling me something they made was sold on era without their permission. It kind of annoys me, and by "kind of" I mean "extremely", but I know nothing will ever be done about it.

Sorry about that, not much can really be done about them now since they've been there so long, most of the hats from classic on era were added on its release by the original staff, fairly certain we haven't used classics hats since those old shops. It's the same with every ios server, zone and west have some of eras hats, era has some of classics hats, classic has some of eras scripts (vip system)

After a year of not playing Era, I come back to this being the only real accomplishment and it isn't all that impressive. Time to delete again.

Era still takes hats from classic without permission to this day. Like I said, I've had cases of staff telling me how era is selling a hat they made for classic, and even seen it myself without staff telling me.

As for classic taking era's scripts, they were taken with permission (key words there).

I know nothing can be done about it now, and probably nothing will ever be done about it in the future. Just figured this was a good opportunity to express my opinion.

Which hats are we using from classic recently? I would think if we were it would look weird since you guys shade your hats with classics 'style' which wouldn't fit with the things we have

I doubt any hats were taken from Classic's files to iEra anytime recent. If there are some hats you can message snk, Storm, iPink, or even me to figure out by who and when they were taken and figure a solution out.
