How to make a successful GST
1) Firstly you need a name. To create a pro gst guild your name should be 3 random capitalized letters. E.G KZX
2) Put in your status "(your guild name) GST, recruiting" this is a sure-fire way to get good members. 3) Once you've got 3-4 good members make sure they all wear black and have the same status as you, this is essential. 4) Get everyone to go in quick spar rooms and say EZ when they beat new players, this will make your guild look good and get you more members. 5) Go to a guild spar room and spar new guilds, make sure to leave if you see competition. This could really damage your pro team. Note: If you ever get beaten by a good team remember to tell everyone you were the ones who beat them. 6) Boost your score a little so you can get in a GST. |
Thallen take notes.

Albie, you forgot step 0.5
0.5) Boost your own score so people will join |

I don't live close to any shops so I had an hour walk to town to buy some cereal. + My dog wasn't actually meant to eat the cereal, I had to improvise. |

How to make a successful GST
1. Hire Fp4 to host it How to make a successful GST team 1. Go HAM or go home |
GST = Guild Spar Tournament
not Guild Spar Team not Graal Spar Team not Graal Spar Tournament For a successful team? Get your friends and do the tournament together, that's when you are successful. Otherwise, it's just another pointless tournament. |
I suppose people who take part in the tournament don't have fun even if they lose?For me I would learn something from it all and just enjoy it overall.Sadly it seems as if that doesn't happen?

HowTo; Win a GST -
1. Be good at spar. 2. win. |
You forgot to 'conveniently' vacation somewhere in Europe during the GST so you can get the perfect lag to win.

Also on a serious note though I'd just say do GST with some good sparrer friends. Keep doing GSTs together and build up your chemistry because eventually you will keep improving and get so good you might even win or come very close to it (GTeam for example 1-3 in finals against Alumni). Also friends tend to be more loyal than random good sparrers. Even though I've never done a GST. I've found it way more fun doing it with friends because you enjoy yourself more. Also in my experience when I've done GST with the same people I feel like I don't need to practice much with them because we know each others styles well so it could save time. |
@Aguzo
GST can stand for whatever people want it to. It could stand from Great Sexual Taste if I wanted, there is no set acronym for some letters. GST is used as Guild Spar Team by many people. |
I always say it stands for Guild Spar tournament
|
I always thought it stood for Grilled Sandwiches Today, so on the day of GST I'd make me a grilled sandwich. MMmmm
