Sept 5th or no GST this season.

Honestly this doesn't matter, Why would the staff care for someone else's preference over another persons preference

29th but it's on the 5th

5th will be better however at least a different guild will get mixed.

I say 29th for 2 reasons; I want to compete against Alumni AND I'd like them to have a chance to continue that streak, though sadly without Dante and mk.

No. i think it's either gst referees can't make it on the date or hats are incomplete.

One of the top reasons why an "Upcoming Events" Calendar should be added, but who knows... maybe they had a really good excuse.

29th would be nice so that Alumni could participate. Gonna be on vacation during the 5th and I'd rather not scramble to get on a computer that may or may not have a decent enough connection to do well, so I'm not gonna be around for this GST.

It's okay just imagine BDB is the temporary Alumni xd


Also I would prefer 29th because I go back to college next week so its kinda annoying but oh well... I will be on either way.

Personally I find it weird they host it on the 5th. The 29th just worked better imo...

Personally I don't see how the 5th is a problem, it is still a weekend so people are off school/collage anyway , unless of course its personal plans for some people.
However I am sure that there is a decent reason behind the date , they would not do that for no reason. Additionally this could even help out gst , if not as many people can make it online then maybe the server will be less laggy
( at this point every little helps ).

Most of Deity hates Alumni I doubt that would ever happen and I'm pretty sure Thallen was doing it with an underdog team anyway I wouldn't really count them as underdog.

desperation for a win can lead people to go against their own beliefs. see: thallen recruiting a bunch of people to alumni that he has previously said bad things about. it's pretty lame and almost the equivalent of me joining alumni (never gonna happen) but i guess i can understand it. after all, alumni did kind of take eko and fulgore from deity and win with them, shoutout to thallen for repaying dae for this crime.

Deity was inactive for good at the point I joined at least. Stayed inactive for over a year and they're just coming back now. And he didn't really approach me either, was the opposite for me. I can't speak for anyone else though, that's just my experience.

Also, it could be that people just don't want other teams to win and help bolster chances of a team they don't mind winning. I personally can't live in a world where SLX or GTEAM win so I'd be OK with just about anyone else. If people joined Deity I'm glad if only for the reason that other teams won't win.

Yo, it's completely possible to make a negative comment towards someone on Graal, or this forum, without it being hateful. I tell Kuz every GST that his predictions suck and he's the Perez Hilton of Graal, but it doesn't mean I dislike him. I even talk to him sometimes.

I told Eko he was lame for doing the leaderboard glitch thing and recruited him afterwards.
Over a year ago, I made a post saying I was pleased to see Dark and Nell lose the GST because of something to do with Dark lag blocking at a tower and Nell's tendency to rage. I actually thought the N83 dude from vDragz was Nell up until a few months ago.

People change, criticisms and comments are made, etc. It's not a big deal. Everyone wants to be part of a functional guild and I'm glad they were recruited. There's definitely no desperation to win. I'm more desperate to be surrounded by people that I can take seriously and tolerate being on the same tag with.

I'm at the point that old US Mixed members were at, where you slowly get bored of the GST because of the expectation of winning, you start to become hesitant to come online and practice, etc.
The only thing that motivates me to participate in this one (without Alumni) is to prevent certain people from winning. Yes, I am a sick person that enjoys denying the happiness of winning from people.

Won't confirm or deny anything about Deity. Was 100% serious about wanting to join GTEAM at first because I feel like it'd balance out the Mixed teams a bit more, since I do think that Deity, Blackout, and WAR are a bit stronger. They will not recruit me because either 1.) they are like Alumni and really hate changing their lineup or 2.) I suck. That is all.

Would suck cause neither team would shut up about it for as long as they live. A Northern Signs scenario, if you will.

#1 is half true, gteam isn't a guild built solely for gst, we been using almost the same team every gst since it was created, and i dont plan to change that. Plus there is no need for alumni to change team in the first place since u guys are on a streak with that team. Disappointed you guys not doing it this season.

Prob the one thing I admire is how you kept your roster unlike just about all other guilds.

Still can't stand to see you all win though cause you'll never let us forget. Also, just cause I say you speed doesn't mean I think you're bad. I think you/Max can do very well without it, you're both decent sparrers. It just hurts your rep hard if you do, so I'd be happy to see it off and you still do well in GST, just don't win for God's sake.

Even if we(GTEAM) were to win, it's not like they could boast about it for long. Majority are quitting/going inactive after GST.

This sums up just about every GST I've been in, and I reckon with some good players like thallen up for grabs this one won't be any different. People talk alot of **** about Sarah, Thallen etc. but you know they still want them on their team.
