Pking Not Fun
 

Pking isn't even fun... I feel like I'm playing Classic running around with a melee to get a kill. I just noticed that you can barely get PKs using guns on this game. I thought the Ol West was big for using guns not running around with staffs and knives. This is a problem that should probably be fixed. (of corse this is all opinion based and we all have our wants and differences for the game to be better and what the staff has in store for us)

They patched the boosting beds at bf so I'm out of luck.

wearnt you one of the people who complained when they boosted the hp and made guns more powerful? Now you want them to make guns more powerful again? Gosh cant you people just make up your minds i come on the internet to fry my brain not think......

I was one of the people who wanted them to keep that....I was saying the people who complain are the people who run around with melees all day.

Sorry for that then :) but on topic. I do agree with you guns should be more powerful and meles do have the upper hand.

staff's are waaay too OP

Not the guns now, buffing up guns that are release isn't fun. Maybe release more expensive guns, or new horseshoe weapons would be nice. A nice 80k$ gun. Heck, even 150. Its easy to get money on ol'west, so i dont see why they would be afraid to raise the prices... And i think they already are working on hs weapons, since ive seen some things/heard.

It wad actually slower to kill someone with the 100HP and the damage increase update
Since all the dmg of the guns got doubled minus 1-2
So let's take the snobnose as example
Normall damage is 6 and it takes u 9shots to kill someone
With the damage increase on the snobnose will deal 10 or 11 dmg
And it would take u 10shots to kill someone with the increased HP(100HP)

I vote for a health and damage increase, this is the clear direction forward in my opinion. It differentiates west from era and zone - aswell as allowing a more flexible variety of guns with a whole new damage range

Aswell as this, I feel that all consumables should be removed and fires be the only way to heal (and sleeping in beds) to prevent people with this significantly higher health boost from being almost impossible to kill. Let's spice things up and make pk more tactical for a change

I agree with everything you just said! This would grab lots of graalians attention to play this game cause it's something way different from all graal servers! And also in the bases to change back to where the flag would lose health on how much dmg the gun /melee does. I was very disappointed when I found out that when they changed everything that day was just a test.

Yes you would have to hit the player more but it would make pking more fun and not so boring like Classic pking (no offense to Classic players out there)

I find it sorta fun idk maybe because I go around with a crow bar killing people.But yes I agree there needs to be a change with the weapons.

If guns are gonna be improved to a certain point, like how they are now, i'd rather not play. You can't play a game with no improvement in weapons as time goes on. If you guys want guns to be more apart of gameplay, just make better guns. I don't see why we need higher hp, and damage, if the damage -2 or -1 and, it isn't even better than what it was.... It will drive more players away, as we saw during the test. The key to having a succesful happy server, Is to make the guns attainable. (With a good amount of work still)

What are you talking about? Don't make this era.

If you are good using guns, its easy to defeat a staff when you move and shoot, move and shoot.
If you are using fb then just shift while looking at your target and just shoot while running.

I don't see why people say "Don't make this like era" If, adding more better, expensive guns won't. Nerfing every job, And only buying itunes for good guns, would be an era. Money is not bad at west at all, i don't see why you all complain. Making a 80k gun, isn't even bad, because most people can get it easily, just by working, that is if you try. Maybe the reason west has a low playercount, is due to the guns lacking improvements. If west has better guns, that are attainable, it will bring more players knowing they can get good guns, and be up-to-date with everyone. I also know how you guys say, guns will be "OP" and "No skill" will be needed, but that is not the case. You guys need to understand, a weapon vs weapon with similar stats is fair, and requires skill. Think of it as a 1 shot kill gun, two players going against each other. You will need skill to kill them, because you definetly want to be avoiding those bullets, and you guys are evenly matched, vs 1 shot gun, and peacekeeper. Thats basically era. You guys need to be optimistic because whoever says the "like era" complaint, wants no change at all.

What era did wrong was stacked dmg. I feel the most powerfull on alltime gun on ol west should be similar to the m4 of era

Yeah maybe a little more, but thats what i suggested to. The guns aren't that good anymore. I mean, At first it was a different experience, but now you notice the guns are weak, therefore more melee fights,and just seeing they do not want progress, makes me not look forward to what west will be.

This made me facepalm as the olwest theme is all about guns.

Anyways, I got the pink gp staff a few days ago and the staffs are really op compared to guns in almost every aspect.

We already have a melee game...and that's classic, but that still sucks...might as well change the games name to Eharmony for kids

This isn't needy, it's about improving and working towards good future ideas

Here is how to PK with a Gun that's better than using melee and requires some skill. Get any gun and then use it while riding a horse. You are basically a mobile tank now. I prefer to use the Repeating Gun because of its fast fire rate and it's medium freeze is negated due to riding on a horse, which has no freeze when shooting.

Basing/sparring is entirely in inside levels so this doesn't fix anything, plus horses movements aren't great

ol'west starting to crumble like iEra, purely because the game is horribly unbalanced like iEra

then go to bases and kill peeps cuz many peeps are afk and earning gp so u can kill them and u can get sometime base too
