I was banned for 2.1k hours for using an auto clicker.
Hey guys, I was recently banned for using an auto clicker to AFK. I was curious if you think this is a valid reason for being banned?
About a year ago, I started playing graal on Facebook a lot because my old iPod died. Any time I would try to afk, after a few hours my computer would shut itself down or turn off the internet since I wasn't actually using it. In order for me to combat this, I downloaded a free auto clicker program that would click the screen for me, thus keeping me logged in, and preventing the computer from shutting itself off. After a little while I read on a forum (I think it was graal depot) about farming techniques. One of them said to use an auto clicker, stand next to a bush or grass in your house and have the auto clicker hit that grass over and over while you AFK. I thought that was pretty brilliant so I started doing it. Now take into account this takes WEEKS to get any real amount of wealth. It took a week alone to get one or two grass/bushes to become purple gralats. This wasn't some crazy farming cheat or anything. For me this was just being productive while you AFK, instead of just standing around doing nothing for 10 hours you are actually gaining some gralats, even if it is only a small amount. Anyway long story short, I had been doing this for a year off and on with no problems, until the other day. I was banned for 2.1k hours for "hacking and cheating." I read the rules on hacking and cheating and its pretty non descriptive of what a hack really is but they won't overturn my ban. I am curious, does anyone else use auto clickers to stay online while they AFK? Do you guys agree with the ban? Thanks for your thoughts and opinions! |

You deserve the ban but maybe not 2.1k hours.

Im going to summon the damned beast known as colin from the abyss |
Lmao there's no point in afking, and you cheated to get free gralats. So yes, you deserve it
|
Thats like saying to use bots to farm for you to be productive when afking.
|
That's roughly 2 months... which is pretty minor considering you were botting and devaluing the entire foundation of how Graal profits. If people don't buy gralat packs, Classic doesn't make money. If everyone botted, Classic would be shut down.

Automated farming is not allowed. Using an autoclicker to farm for you is "Hacking or Cheating" as you are using an external / third party program to influence or "get ahead" of other players (even if it is very slow.)
There is nothing wrong with using it to keep your computer from falling asleep, but there are easier ways to do this in the control panel on Windows and probably some easier ways for Macs as well. |

It's like someone thieving foods in stores. When he got caught he's like telling them, he didn't know it was illegal. he was just hungry, trying to survive. nonono lol Quote:
but i agree, newer players are clueless about any other rules. EXCLUDING this one. it's pretty obvious, botting is banned in almost every game. |
Is the clicker automatically set up at a time frame you choose for it to click? (Ex. 5min, 10min, 1 hour)?

http://www.graalonline.com/docs/conduct?page=2#bugabuse
"This section refers to creating or using any program or technique resulting in unfair advantage via an undocumented feature or disrupting the datastream to and from the server. Such Memory Edits, Trainers, Anti-Idle Macros, Bots or any other 'hacks' to destroy the balance of play in GraalOnline and reduce its effectiveness to remain an entertaining product. While a player may think that abusing a bug for personal gain may not affect others, the fact is that it distorts power, creates imbalances in riches, and is otherwise unfair to players abiding by normal game rules. Players must agree that the consequences of allowing bugs and loopholes to be exploited is so detrimental to the product, that GraalOnline will exercise no tolerance whatsoever for anyone participating in this type of activity. " Rules like this are common sense, if you have an issue send in a support ticket to support.toonslab.com. There is some rules and code of conduct on the GraalOnline site, although some of them are aimed towards the PC servers specifically a majority of them are applicable to the mobile servers. You can read them here if you're interested: http://www.graalonline.com/docs/conduct Knowing what is and what isn't acceptable is pretty much common sense though. |
