Need Help Relating to a Ban
So I know I'm not supposed to do this on the forums, but the way Classic's system is, they really don't leave you any choice. I'd prefer a classic admin who actually will take this seriously please read this and respond to me. Here's the story:
I was at the grotto, I stole gralats from some guy, I was reported, and an admin warned me for Game Disruption. I went back to the grotto and was astonished you could be banned for "stealing" gralats in a public farm, so anyways I only stole from him because he steals from me (not that it matters why) and so I figured I could farm then if there's an admin there that won't let you steal, so I did. And that guy got on his mount and started trying to steal my gralats. I reported him then, figuring the same would happen to him. I ended up getting banned for "Hacking or Cheating" for over 2.1k hours. I sent a ticket to toonslab, but Classic doesn't require evidence for a ban, so I guess they treat their tickets like a joke, anyways, my appeal was denied because it wasn't properly looked into to begin with. I find it absurd I was banned for Hacking because I stole gralats, and then I even stopped and started farming myself, he stole, and I got banned. My guess is the staff member thought those were his bombs while we were both trying to get the gralats. Anyways, I don't see why taking gralats in a public farm deems a ban, let alone with the reason for hacking. I did not say one word to the person or anyone, so inappropriate language/harassment wasn't a part of the situation. I want to show my credibility that I'm not one of those players that twists the story for when they in actuality did something, and I get this situation is so absurd-sounding that that might be most people's impression. I used to be a ZP/ZP Captain on iZone and a PR on iEra, so that I know the rules & the system. That doesn't mean I didn't hack (even though I didn't) but that shows I do know about this stuff. Anyways, I'm just looking for some help from someone who will take this seriously, since it didn't happen on toonslab. |
Almost the same thing happened to me, I was in my guild house and called my friend an asswipe for beating me and got a 2.1k hour for hacking.
If only there was evidence for bans lol Nothings going to change, sadly most admins are over-sensitive and or don't actually know what the correct punishment is for an action. |
If this really happened then that's ****ing hilarious

And the sad part is I know my ban wouldn't be overturned, due to me having a history. But my last history was from years ago. I had been banned for hacking before for doing a glitch (like the guild house glitch or something) and once for not being able to die because I was touching a sign.... I know classic just looks at your history when deciding to appeal the bans, and the fact that I haven't had any ban history in years should count towards my appeal. |

hey, I can relate to your entire post and I'd hate to say this but the only way of getting unbanned right now is through Toonslab.. sorry
I don't know of any GPA that actively browses Graalians nowadays |
I guess now if a noob tells me to "stop pking tower or get reported" i'll actually need to pay heed to what it says.

If it isn't just talk to Pharaoh, he's a cool guy, and he's pretty understanding. He helped me out with my ban, and I'm sure if you explain the situation to him he won't turn a blind eye. |

Legend has it that if you rep every post dusty has made he'll unban you

Classic doesn't use the evidence system anymore? So now those 12 years old admins can wrongfully ban players?

I say fire all the current admins, except for a few admins whom are doing a great job.

On the bright side, you finally have a chance to go outside.

Sounds funny, I see people steal in the grotto all the time and no punishment happens to them.
