Consequences of this person macroing
 

This guy is macroing and nothing has happened (im sure something will, not the reason why in here) Im just wondering what would the consequences be? Would it be gralats taken away? Banned for a long time? Getting taken off the leaderboard?

Macro = a jail, then reset of that skill.

Since that isn't a skill, all of his gralats would be removed.
If he bought things with the money he made, we remove it.

All of it is logged.

In my opinion, they should be removed from the leader-boards as well - or is that not possible?

They should have the push and pull players that way if someone is macroing you can move them elsewhere and have an admin see that

They do that. Awhile back I reported someone micromining and they moved him to make sure if he was using micro. After that I dont know if he got jailed, reseted or graals removed. They said they only disconnected him.

Allow players to grab and pull each other is what i meant, say an admin isnt on and you see someone macroing, you can move that player away from the spot. Like era on client players would move another player if they kept digging in the same spot

Ouch.

Ah well be happy that it's just some noobs macroing every now and then and not people who actually create bots

It's a program that allows your app run on its own doing one thing.

Tapping walking and so on. Which isn't allowed

Can someone explain what macroing is exactly? IS it just being able to abuse a skill to get higher level in a skill and/or getting gralats fast using jobs?

To use a program to repeat a motion. Which can be used to do the jobs or skills over and over without being near your computer. Software that wasn't made by the game.

Abuse to get Gralats or to level up.

Sometimes things are added near jobs to prevent macroing. Bats at mining and probably pks around cutting wood. For fishing well.. fishes go where they want

Macroing is automating actions by using a program/tool. For example you can record your keyboard pressing up, up, right, left, down, down and it would be able to play those actions repeadetly.

Bots are a lot better though, they seem like the same thing but they actually have some sort of brain. For example it could scan a certain area in a game and go to the nearest tree to cut and if an admin would drag it then it could simply unstick itself and run back. I doubt anyone would ever create a bot for graal though, doesn't have enough potential.

I could probably create a bot for graal with color sensors, it would take ages though and would make it boring.

Anyone could with a bit of googling and youtube but why would you waste your time on making a bot for a game that has no value in real life, I mean like people tend to bot games to sell the gold for real life cash which for graal would never work

Ive witnessed someone sell items for real life cash, which is USD, but people are still willing to risk their account beeing banned/reset by using real money to buy other items. So people are willing to buy graal things for real life money.

Just imagine a bot in zone pick up trash for two weeks straight

Still graal stuff is worthless and I was talking about it with a business like perspective. Botting graal is a waste of time unless you want to screw up the economy without any/low money gains.

Botting on any graal would result in tons of money per hour as you could set up multiple accounts. Just a heads up, classic has macro detection hence why a bot would be the only option there.

If people wonder why I know this stuff, I'm currently running 20 runescape bots to farm gold :)

Tbh if there was a real demand for it and I'd be able to make 10 us dollars a hour or more I would but selling gralats to underage kids isn't ideal xD

Bots are great if used legally - im making around £20 a day on top of whatever else I earn, and increasing by farming fifa coins searching the market for players going cheap and automatically relisting them for a few more coins. Easy profit, especially when you're out doing something you actually want to do

Easiest way to check is just asking something to see if they answer or not :p

Tbh I don't think there should be a warning if someone's cheating it should be automatic reset in that skill and gralats

Well you have to keep in mind that some might be really young who spent their real money in the game aswell, one warning seems appropriate to me

Yeah but the way they move already gives it away hence why the second check is to talk to them. Thought that was common sense. There's a clear difference in macro movements and human movements as macros are exact steps being repeated

On the off chance I was doing skills legitimately I would have someone pop up to me and try to **** me over

I remember different with the old mining system rofl I had to spend 9 hours of mining a day to keep up cus everyone else was macroing, I remained #1 rocks mined for quite a while tho

And then they outlawed it and everyone disappeared lol.

They never got reset so yeah I just gave up
