As an FYI, as there may be more kids here than is obvious. I have partial tourettes so don't copy the way I have cussed a lot. I'ma filter my cussing out moving forward as it's come to my personal attention that I don't want to encourage being unfiltered like that. It isn't good for you

Tourettes doesn't even affect the way someone types on the internet. As well as this, it is extremely uncommon for Tourettes to cause someone to cuss in the first place. Nice try though big man.

Maybe he is lying, maybe he isn't, but mocking him and making fun of him isn't necessary.

He's just trying to make us aware of why he acts like he does sometimes and that's cool, if he actually does have it and you guys are on here mocking him for it do you really think that's going to help his problem???

You wouldn't make fun of someone who said this in person so don't do it here.

The difference is, if you accidentally curse or something in person (which is quite rare anyway with tourrettes) you can't take it back, because it's spontaneous. If you type a word in the middle of a god damn essay, there's no reason at all that you can't go back and edit it. Thus, this whole scenario is shady and I agree with most of the replies.

Yeah it's pretty unheard of that someone has typing tourettes.

I agree with the editing part and hopefully he starts doing that but he has apologized on numerous occasions for the stuff he's said and the deleted replies here were really out of line and no better than the behaviour he shows.

I don't really care if he has it or not but he is trying to improve the way he acts and that's good enough for me.

I can tell people that I'm actually going to stop calling them out for their bull**** too, but unless I stop doing it nobody is going to believe me.

In fairness, there's a good chance OP doesn't even have Tourette's and is just trying to gobble some attention.

And if he did have Tourette's, that doesn't in any way warrant him his own thread about him having a mental disability.

If I had autism, I wouldn't go so far as to create my own thread saying I have autism.

Yea it's a part of autism. Thanks for those who understand. And, right, it doesn't matter about the typing part; I am not 11 years old experimenting with typing. When I get into passionate conversations it is not so easy to just sit around and think very carefully about what I am going to say because I am an adult trying to convey a point with tourettes, not a mindless 11 year old developing his words. And, yes, partial tourettes does make a person cuss a lot more as stress relief, and it is a lot less stressful to just be myself half the time than having to also filter myself uncontrollably more than usual.

Copralalia (**** talking) and tourettes are closely related. Really, it just comes out the more honest I am being in a conversation without hesitation

You have to be really gullible to believe he has Tourette's, although I do believe he has autism. I believed that before he mentioned it though.

I mean Southpark is so funny it's nearly religious, but you know that it's a comedy right? Yea, I do have tourettes. My nerves are always firing off all over my body, and most people look at me funny or tell me "to stop". They don't even care; so, yea, trying to be successful I've had to bottle up even more and more of my nerves to put up with this notion, so forgive me if cussing my guts out is a good release but it's better than picking up a machete especially since with the autism people grind on my nerves intentionally usually because they don't understand me right away

And when you start referring to my autistic traits as me being an egotistical washed up deadbeat loser, and then 15 other people join in—of course after months of putting up with this and then being argued & haggled to death in heated debates I just lose control

I've been active here again for months and a number of abusive comments directed at my personality have eventually pushed me to a place where I lost control; and I love Graal, I respect the people here and this place. I have a conscience

I posted this thread for my own conscience, and to inform any kids here that it isn't normal to go around cussing like that. I mean, you can—and there's plenty of places on the Internet where you can go to do it; even in real life. I've spent most of my life around gangsters; they cuss all the time. I think it can be done quite skillfully, especially in rap; I can rap myself.

However, I don't approve of kids going around and cussing at adults or other people in real life in ways that could really get you hurt; thus, I posted this thread.

edit: I have tourettes and i DONT GO AROUND announcing it to the world . There's other ways to relieve your 'anxiety' or 'built-up-emotion/response-to-negative-stimuli' than going around cussing. You can't blame things on a disorder..
