A better way to organise hats
 

I feel we need a better way to organise hats then that terrible last worn hats option, would it be possible to add a edit hat inventory option so we can sort them our selves?

I would love this!

I'm thinking an option to drag them around and move them between pages like iOS apps would be cool

its an alright idea, but i dont think players change their hats enough for this to be an issue?

It's not an issue. But who wouldn't wanna put all their Christmas hats next to each other or Halloween hats.

It would be a nice option.

I like the idea. Sorting my holiday themed hats together and my event hats together would be pretty neat. I don't think this would be something at the top of the managers' to-do list, but I like the idea.

Its cool aslong as we can reset it back to order.

Of course we could.
I just hate having to scroll 12 pages to find a hat and then forget where it is.

I personally think "most frequently worn" would be better than "most recently worn" for the first page sorting option.

Other than that, there's really no good way to implement a completely customized inventory sorting function, especially for people with a couple thousand hats.

Why not have folders for hats where you can drag and drop them into diff categories of your choosing?

Creates folder: Events
Click Hat -> Move Hat to Events folder
Blah blah blah

I enjoy the Pokemon sorting system. Something similar would be quick and simple to use. Have a preset amount of pages and drag the item to wherever you desire.

Let's fix the lag first then we can talk about hat organizing! Needs over wants.

Let's be honest- we all only wear about 5-10 hats from our inventory anyways so this is pointless

What if we had a "favorites" tab next to the "Change Hat" tab where we could order our favorite hats that we want to wear instead of searching through all the other hats?

Honestly, I agree completely, but they asked for ideas so I obliged...

I agree completely recenetly im trying to wear them all due to my pages but.. yeah so thats why putting the hats I use first would be easier than the ones I last used cuz I can put them in order.

Same issue here as was mentioned recently regarding 'customizable' folder locations in the menu. The game applies these objects to your character serially, according to the order in which you acquire them. Can you imagine the increase of database space (not to mention coding) that would go into allowing you to re-order them?

Now multiply that by every single account on the server...

And remember what happened when 5000+ people came on to open christmas gifts :)

An issue that comes up a lot when tinkering with old systems(like enabling hats) is that it's a fairly convoluted and messy system that's not exactly easy to change.

I'm imagining it's coded like a maze instead of a single path lol
