GS scoreboard and GST brackets
 

Okay, so we've all been annoyed by the new gs scoreboard and how it's mainly noob guilds spam recruiting that are on it. However I heard that Fp4 said that they will use a different way to form brackets this GST, can anyone elaborate?

Same way as previous GSTs I think.

If you search a guild you can see his gs score that will be how you know! Except id like a board where we could see how the point ranking stack up for the top 64 teams just so I can know where guilds are placed!

Yeah I'd like to see the old leaderboard somehwere too just so we can see if we have enough points to qualify etc.

Wait so the brackets are made with the score u see when you view a guild or when you look on the seasonal leaderboard? Kinda confused

The ones when you search the guild not seasonal! But I bet something will change in the future concerning gst and stuff at least from what I've heard in the past.

We are likely going to add a menu to the GST registration to see if your guild/team is currently qualified or not.

Will it display seed or just a yes/no?

It wouldn't be that simple, even though I wondered this as well.

much better without a leaderboard that shows seedings because you could pretty much fix brackets in your favor

okay i see where this is going. can u include the guild ranking in the gst registration page? so at least we have an idea where we are and don't get disqualified last minute?

Specific ranking, no but it's certainly feasible to say 'currently one of the top 16/32/48' teams qualified which should make it much more difficult/risky to attempt to abuse seeding.

Seeding is still cancer, got teams like "rekt u" who randomly have 7200+ and then "Amanious" at nearly 7500, those two teams alone having boosted their score will interfere and make a deserving team lose earlier than they should probably...

Arguably worse is having teams like BO, SL, Silver (sorry for the callout friends) share temporary members to help with scores. I'm sure they do it just because they're friendly people, but it still puts people at scores they shouldn't be and allows them to GS at times that their actual team isn't active.
Pretty sure every team except Alumni does that though...

Hmmm...

Entity will actually GS with their real team, on their real tag, against other real teams (which puts you guys above 99% of guilds in integrity), but even you guys do the temporary recruiting thing
Not as bad as others though, half the time I look at the SL and BO rosters, I can't even tell which team is which

So where do we see the rankings in graal ?

There is no leaderboard for it, the points show in your guild profile, fp4 is working on a way at the desk for you to see if your team qualifies for the tournament or not

It's removed so people don't use it to their advantage. But fp4 is releasing something where it shows if you're qualified or not for the GST.

GS Scoreboard stuff won't be that good until they implement a system where you can only join one guild or something...or GS at arena on only one tag for an entire season. That's the only way people will be stop being scared...Oh well it'll never happen and will remain a fantasy.

'Team Qualification Status' is now an option at the GST desk.
