Why not faser with the nickname of the player to stay on top of his head ? Thus:http://i68.tinypic.com/abm1bp.png it would look fancy in my opinion. What you think? :D

I mean not a bad idea but its not hard to just tap the screen or the player to see their name.

It wouldn't work unless the public chat appears on the bottom of the character which would be extremely weird.

Heheh i know :D but i guess for players who like to see other players nickames without clicking it would be better.

Lol not lazy. Some players like to see the name without clicking in the character. that does not mean the person is lazy.

What I'm saying is if they want to see the name they can just tap the screen, literally not hard in anyway. If they cant do that, theyre lazy.

Well if they cant do that is their problem like they dont have fingers.. i guess.But for those who would like to see the name on the head instead of under the avatar, would be good. ;)

Yes theres a option that allow you to see the player nickname under their avatar.

Names can be long. Gets in the way of chat. Nicknames already are on the bottom. Nicknames can be enabled/disabled. I don't see the point of this.

have come to realize that drawing text on the screen in any fancy way is one of the biggest causes of client/FPS lag

Think it being "lazy" isn't just one of the purposes..... What about sspectating a gst round and u can't "click" on the player...

Thats legit the only valid reason, but again you dont need to click or tap them.. tapping and holding the screen shows everyones names, if thats hard.. lord help.

The names would get in the way of chat unless it's somehow disabled while the person is talking which would be very troublesome

That'd be cool, sometimes idk who's who on my friends list

Although I prob wouldn't use this anyways unless the person had a long annoying name (like if they were in BFM or something, those guys always have huge names)

Where would the chat text go then? Either keep tags on, or hold the screen in order to see them.

There is nothing wrong with the way the names are now. This is a preference thing you have, if enough people agree then make it optional to VIEW other peoples names above or below your avatar. tbh i feel no need for this
