Change the noob head!! We're starting a petition to change to noob head. IDK how many people we need to 'sign' to get it changed, but we're trying.!!!

So upon recent popular demand I've started remaking the noob head. I've decided to remake it using the same kind of art style and technique as the original creator. Progress:

I see you've free-handed the outline. This is an amazing start as it will give the head a much more natural feel, making the game more immersive. Your lack of hue shifting is a plus too, as it would confuse a lot of players with lack of brain capacity when your skin color turns to red.

A couple major problems

You seem to have a lack of banding. This is a problem. Banding helps to bring out every detail in pixel art. It really shows where everything like shading is. Masking all your hard work isn't a good idea.

Your light source seems to be on top. This is another problem with our playerbase. They don't comprehend lightsources, so pillowshading is the better route. It will allow you to give beautiful shadows to every area of the head.

Thank you for pointing all that out, I don't know how I didn't notice before! I've done some revising and even added some dithering so I can make the transition from cream to red a little easier without adding an extra color that would only confuse players.

It's still lacking banding. God, I hate when I bust my ass and you ignore everything I say. I guess if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.

Don't change the noob head. If you want us to be convinced that the noob head should be changed then go change every other single ugly head first. Changing the most iconic thing in graal is gonna be pretty upsetting

A lot of the free heads could use an update, not the noob head tho! I don't see a problem with it, its ugly, maybe, but its part of graal! *insert cheesy line to end here*
