What's the worst injury you've ever had?
I personally haven't done much, perhaps the time I hit my head on the corner of a table but that's about it.
|
I really haven't been injured that many times in my life. Never broke a bone, gotten some horrible disease or anything.
So I guess the worst injury I ever got was when I cut deep into my finger with a steak knife. I remember it was pretty much like taking a saw blade to the finger since it had sort of a serrated edge and it took nearly 2 months to fully heal. |
When I was little I would tie a blanket on my back and make little superman jumps off objects around the house, I messed up once and got the top end of a nail in my forehead.
I now have a scar there that a lot of people claim looks like the Harry Potter thing since it's basically in the same spot |
I've had injuries ranging from sprains, bruises, fractures, and cuts. An ACL injury probably the worst I had. Nearly 6-9 months in recovery and in crutches.
|
Only physical injuries?

a knee injury, people tell me i have a weird walk its probably because of my knee since i didn't go to a doctor and just sucked it up.
|
My worst injury was burning myself with hot tea. I haven't broken a bone or anything like that. The burn was swolen & red, but never blistered (thankfully) so it wasn't all that bad for a burn.
|
Slowly lost cartilage in my ankle over the course of 3-4 years as a result of a minor injury that got worse (playing sports the whole time didn't help), finally got surgery afterwards and was in a cast / crutches for roughly 4 months, full recovery was about 10 months.

Idk if this counts as injury or not since I was born with it but it has caused severe pain and hospitalization multipe times so eventually I'll have to get my rib cage cut out and a metal bar inserted to make sure the rib cage grows back properly which is a very long and painful surgical procedure which takes about a year and a lot of morphine and pain killer drugs so you are also looking at months of physical/mental therapy
On the positive side, without a rib cage you can't do much outside of the house so I'll get some good gaming time!! |

My worst injury was receiving a concussion when I was younger. I was running around and tripped and then fell on the side of my head. My eyesight was completely blurry for like two hours. Worst part was that it happened late at night, so I had to stay awake while I was still super tired. |

- How I got it: I was horseplaying with my cousins and bros then I did a back flip and I landed on my feet then my knee started hurting really bad that's when I got the injury. |
Real serious tho as a toddler I was running like a maniac and hit my face onto the dining room glass table and it knocked my baby teeth up, and since then I still am missing 2 adult teeth.... RIP
|
Got a hair line fracture on my skull when I was 5ish from a bike wreck
|
Nothing bad, haven't broken a bone or gotten any disease.
Once a year or so I get a massive migraine that paralyses me(not literally, but it becomes so painful to move that I just don't). My vision almost always goes into tunnel vision. Any light feels like the sun. They usually only last about 4 hours, but i usually just lay in a dark room until the pain slowly dulls and goes away. Still don't know what causes it, though it really isn't all that concerning for me. |
I've broken 3 of my toes once, because I was weightlifting during lunch break at my school last year, my friend dropped a 25 pound dumbbell and it miraculously rolled 3 feet still bouncing landing on my toes(3middle ones)
|
I've been pretty damn lucky so it seems. My worst injury was cracking one of my front teeth off by hitting it on my knee. Went for a month or two with the nerve hanging out. I even went on a rollercoaster like this. Hurts like hell when you bite down on it D:
I finally I was able to get a fake tooth sculpted on. Not very obvious but if you look closely you can tell the bottom part is fake. Especially since it's a tad bit shorter than it should be. I've had stitches before from falling on barbed-wire. But I don't find that story as entertaining. |
I was in a car crash a long time ago and had to have the front half of my foot amputated.
|
I was messing around with my friends and we set up this ramp with wood and an old TV set or something and decided to jump it with a bike.
Going up the ramp the board slipped and I landed on the handlebar, it went inside my leg. My friends had to pull it out, didn't know it was inside me however and thought it was just clasped around my skin. tl;dr: pretty much got stabbed |
When I was 5th grade I fell down a stair and dislocated my right arm. Had a surgery. It wasn't that severe, it healed pretty fast, though I (since then) can't perform several hand maneuver.
I have been left-handed and handicapped in Tennis and Baseball since, it isn't that bad actually, I can still use my right hand and it feels the same as my left hand. |
When I was young I tripped and hit the corner of a wall with my head, now I have a scar on my scalp, good thing it's unnoticeable unless you feel it.
More recently I dislocated my thumb when my friend tried to teach my to skateboard. Got it caught in a wire fence while going downhill. Only took a few weeks to recover, good thing it was my left hand. |

That time when I went on a field trip to go pumpkin picking, I was so excited when I brought it home and wanted to cut it myself and yup you guessed it, I chopped my finger off. Just kidding, but I did cut deep and my finger, blood was spilling everywhere, it was so cool and scary at the same time.
Also that time where I was climbing on monkey bars as a kid and fell of and broke my leg. Don't know how it happened but yeah I broke my left leg and was rushed to the hospital immediately. Man, I remember it like it was yesterday. Having to have the doctor walk me to the bathroom. Eating ****ty ass snacks. Watching the Berenstein Bears on the tv. Getting crutches and having to be homeschooled for awhile. I never got used to my crutches and always usually fell on my face. When they took the cast off my leg, I remember it being so freaking skinny, it scared the **** out of me. Skin shedding and everything. Good times. Or that time when I got hit in the face with a basketball and bled so bad, there was litterally blood everywhere. Some random chick was like "omg let me see" when I was trying to go to the nurses office and caused me to bleed out even more. But hey, she was hawt. I would bleed out for her anyday. There are way more stories, like when I fell off a flight of stairs. All of this is true, and yes, I have tons of more stories I can't remember. I was famous in my school for getting hurt like almost all the time. And mostly during recess. Kids would see me fall and bust my face and walk away like nothing happened, that's how much it happened. I remember I had a nickname everyone used to call me but I forgot, sorry. This all happened in middle school, I'm not such a clutz (was about to type ****) now. |
I once broke my arm by turning a book.
My arm muscle just decided to disconect so I had a cast for a while. I don't know what the name of the thing that caused it to happen but my arm is fine now. |
This one time I got shot in the head and died.
Got to stay home from school the next day so I didn't really complain. |

Bob: Hey Sard! Whoa. What happened to your arm? Sardon: I broke it while turning the page in a book. |
I'v never had any real serious injuries, these are more fnny/ironic/I-can't-think-of-the-word...
- chipped my two front teeth trying to fall through a hole in the elementary school playground, I was a sort of vampire for a few days - jammed my finger playing softball because the sun was in my eyes and I couldn't see the freaking ball coming at my face - jammed my thumb by my friend jumping on it while i was sitting on a trampoline (I'm smart) - I was sick with the stomach flu on my birthday (not serious just funny) so while my family had my birthday dinner in the kitchen I ate chinese food in the living room - I've been told that when I was younger I was playing outside and shoved rocks up my nose (small ones, and they came out) and my sister was the one that stood up under the mailbox and cut her head) - In middleschool I was going up a flight of stairs and hit my finger against the stairway rail and it made an indent that barely bled but I still have a scar from it |
falling down a hill at full speed off my skateboard, no marks tho

a 10 feet tall grizzly bear. I chocked it with one hand and it immidiatly died. But then I was assaulted by 4 more bears which I beat the **** out of but one of them broke my arm for a few months so... |

I think you probably dislocated it. A break is when the bone literally breaks, so if your arm muscle disconnected it would unlikely cause a break. |
