Submit Appeal for Guild Pic rejection
 

Tried to upload a guild picture of Drake holding the L and it got disapproved due to being inappropriate. So could someone tell me where I can appeal the decision, please?

And if you could tell me how this is inappropriate, that'd be great too.

Only reason I haven't resubmitted is because I don't want to risk being permanently banned from uploading guild pics. I'm not leaving my fate up to the kid who rejected this INAPPROPRIATE image.

So, can someone spot me an appeal link so I don't get f***** over by resubmitting the same image and getting banned?

Because the admins are in a bad mood. Or maybe its because guild pics cant contain real humans

Pretty sure there isn't any actual rules posted anywhere. That's what pissed me off with iZone, we had specific rules in comments, but not available to players.

What kind of logic is that

why aren't humans allowed? I remember back then a lot of guild pics were kids taking selfies

face/human pictures aren't allowed because people were using it to 'rate' each other.

Logos with celebrities are allowed, upload it again and it should be accepted. The person who disapproved it either didn't know who it was or made a mistake and disapprove it for inappropriate instead of size

What if a graal player is a celebrity in real life, can his graal pic be selfies, but normal people who aren't famous can't post selfies?

Posting pictures of any person is not allowed, celebrity or not.
If celebrity pictures have been allowed then the person who accepted them is in the wrong.

That simply isn't true. Pictures of celebrities are allowed, and have always been allowed for as long as I have worked as a GP. The only problem that arises is that not every staff member is up to date with pop culture. For example, if this guild logo was submitted and I was reviewing them, it would pass.

Selfies are not allowed for your average Joe. A lot of kids submit selfies unaware of the possible consequences. If they have a Facebook, for example, and they use the same picture they uploaded as a guild logo, another player with could track them down for whatever devious reasons they may have. When it comes to celebrities, having them on guild logos does not serve to hurt them as they are already in the public eye.

Not sure what you're implying in the last part. Not going to bother trying to figure it out.

Just going to drop this image here since I found it just today.

I wonder if not all staff in charge of moderating logo requests know this, or if there is another relevant rule in place as well. A few years ago, I had tried to use a picture of Ellen DeGeneres without teeth and another of Barack Obama without eyebrows and both were deemed inappropriate. I had to settle on a mango.

I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but here is the best thing to reference for now. A lot of it is common sense, though.

As for guild pictures specifically, generally, you won't be banned for submitting any unless they are sexually explicit in nature. I can't think of any specific cases from my experience that don't fit into this rule. Uploading pictures that are demeaning to staff in some way (ex. a word document that is swearing at staff) might get you banned or warned depending on the severity, but I've never seen anything like that happen before.
