New gfx suck a lot, hat are all unrealist. Stop rn doing "cute" hat or "kawai" hat these are so ugly. New gfx staff are kiling this game years by years.

Servers lag more than usual.

Stop trying to up all price. You know Mantis are a good way for get gralats so you remove the good price ? Whats the next step ? Removing Pyrat Bay quest ? Only asshole do that.

Admin before were fun and nice, now they'r only here for event and put in there status "GP" "GFX staff im god lolilol"

bring back our fu**ing gfx style and stop trying to always get more money.

I don't know why people think the umbrellas from Christmas were rare. I owned all of them after just 2 Christmases. And people would still be able to get them this next Christmas

Personally wouldn't say old classic was extremely better nor was it extremely worse.. Although there has been alot I've disagreed with i.e. combat wise with stamina, hp changes+spawn change, moving mod/destroying forts,disabling mounts in fort etc .that I think made a hell of alot better than how it is now.(Server lag is extreme for me everyone just warps about so isn't enjoyable-tried diff places and wifi etc no change.)

But I also like idea of seasonal leaderbds*coughalltimeshouldstillbethere/displayed-.-* and the graphics wise on some things have been really good imo shame most of them have been for a party/nexus type thing though, be nice to see implemented into map..I'd love to see more expansion on the stuff you've already put ingame though-this is my biggest pethate about classic that there is so many thing for hope of the server then years later it still hasn't even been done, sure you've went onto make new town/s etc but there is much more already on the map that could be done-route through hope for server progress thread for a few of the stuff that never made it.

AFAIK the server is better than it was a few years ago.

I'm the best example of this. I didn't play it because it was absolute garbage. Now I don't hate it. Still won't play it though.

Graal servers are always at their best when you're completely new to the game and get used to how it is in that moment. Except they're not.

Why are you doing this to us admins? Umbrellas? Common? Umbrellas? Like really? People liked them because they were special and rare, now they're just meaningless. These new hats, just stop. Holy ****. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from what the admins are doing to graal classic. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the ****ing **** did they add rain and umbrellas? This can't be happening. I'm having a ****ing breakdown. I don't want to believe the world is so corrupt. I want a game to believe in. I want Sardon to be president and fix this broken game. I cannot ****ing deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this.

I was bored, so I decided to voice my opinions about your statements :P

Some people might actually be happy about this because they might have been playing when people would recieve umbrellas during Christmas (not sure if they still do), plus not all of them are umbrellas from Christmas. Some of the umbrellas are new.

a. You can't always expect the same people who have been doing 2009 graphics to stay for like 6 more years or more
b. These GFX admins have their own style compared to the people from 2009-2012, the graphics could always appeal to people, thus making them play the game more. Trying something new is not a bad thing.

The player count is still increasing, especially during the summer. You should always expect lag whenever you play during the day, after school, the evening, or the summer. If you hate lag so much, just play late at night or early in the morning.

If admins made the game too easy to get gralats, the game would become stale and unappealing. Farming for gralats is a challenge and can make some players continue playing.

Regarding the mantis price, as Dusty stated in another thread, he decreased the price because there was a bug where mantises would spawn uncontrollably. Dusty probably did this to rebalance the game while he kept working on a solution to the bug, also he will probably keep the price lowered for a temporary time until he fixes the uncontrollable bug spawning problem.

The subject of admins in Classic is pretty debatable. Yes, throughout the history of Classic, there were some players who were about 13 or 14, but most can be at least 16 years old. However, try not to generalize all admins as "immature and lazy." I've met a few admins who are really nice and work really hard on the game.

Again, people who do GFX styles from 2009-2012 won't stay forever. And newer GFX can appeal certain (or a lot of) people. About your statement about admins being "money hungry" I wasn't quite sure what to say. I don't want to upset anyone nor make them think I'm also complaining about Classic being too money-hungry. So I'll sum it up like this (even though I hate money-hungry companies and I'm a F2P player):

a. Admins are not responsible for pricing items in Classic; Toonslab is
b. Like every other company or game, Classic needs money to survive and keep going.

Like I've stated before, admins won't stay forever, therefore the style won't stay forever. Change is beneficial since it can appeal to most players and prevent the game from being stale.

a. The game is not dying, it's actually still growing
b. The admins ARE doing something; because a majority of them are volunteers with school, jobs, etc., they'll be busier, which could slow down the content they upload on Classic.

I understand how you feel, when I was playing the game back in 2013 I was upset about some things including expensive items, not a lot of content, etc. but as you continue to play the game (or grow older), you'll begin to understand why these things happen.

It's not just black and white. Some people like it, some dont, and some are between those two. Im inbetween the two, probably since I started in 2010 and I was used to how classic was back then. So while I do think the outdoor tiles on the tileset could use a little more detail since the overworld (imo) looks kinda plain, I don't dismiss the new style as bad. I do like a good share of the hats that come out, the horses (mounts....), etc.

The overworld looks plain? Are you serious...? The overworld has had way more added to it since 2010. Not even an opinion.

I'm referring to the tiles specifically and the use of different ones to make areas look less monotonous.

i agree, but don't mind having areas like that. bc they are being used for gift shop areas etc.

The only thing that looks sorta awkward there is the house, but that's used for a quest. I like this area because it connects to a few important areas and is used for gifts.

The new gfxs aren't bad, but they don't seem as cool as the old ones.
That's probably because these few years we've been asking more and more stuff from our admins, and admins aren't some kind of robot. To make great things you need great inspiration.

Yes they do seem to be cutting and removing stuff. But that's because with the game getting bigger every year, they need to adapt their things to the players. When you have basically no player you won't sell stuff for 20k. But if you have alot of players, those things at 20k will be rare and therefore some people will spend real money in order to buy these kinds of things.
For the admins, it is true that some of the new admins do not help, so what? There are tons of players who can help you all around you. If there's black, there's got to be white as well. Back in the days I had to farm the ctf for gralats, now you have bugs, loots and pyrat quest. You could half the price for bugs, I'd probably make more gralats than I used to anyway.
Sure graal may have lost alot of the things that made it enjoyable back then, but they've also added new stuff that make the game enjoyable.

No one's really understanding what I mean. It is a good area to have. It serves the purpose for gifts and the house for the quest yes. That's fine. Look how boring it is at this very moment. Im not saying add back the SNC building or get rid of the entire area or anything. What I mean is there should different kinds of dirt tiles to spruce it up. There isnt much detail on the ground in a bunch of places which I think makes for a more boring map.

They're probably busy making some other stuff.
Honestly, I'm pretty sure they have much more important stuff to worry about.
Players normally don't even realize these kinds of things.
It's sad but the truth is unless they start remaking parts of the maps (like completely) I don't think it'd happen.
Furthermore, if they really are working on creating a new area, I don't think we'll be able to see new grass.
Although from here, all players are probably going to start whining that they waste time on grass while they could be adding new contents.

LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE

Community involvement is something I believe needs to be addressed. I remember before I was part of the staff team as well as during, staff were able to freely interact with players and it assisted a lot in helping out. Now as a player I would t know where to go or who is even on the staff list. I get that you want to keep staff and players seperate, but if staff aren't around to be seen then there's no sense of security or someone to turn to for help etc.

At the very least, I'd like to see PR staff that are built up of players who have played the game for a number of years, who are knowledgable and friendly.

How about a community council, elected by the population of classic, that takes suggestions from the players and holds a meeting once a month with the staff?

that would just turn into a popularity contest tbh

also what is the point of a council? i think staff knows what they are doing and they are active here on the forums so they see our input and feedback.

also, if this were to happen, the meetings would most likely only happen with Coco and Dusty since they are the only developers (and again they are already active on the forums).
