Apple screen cracks.

Seriously, why not just make them out or plastic.

Alex Damian 07-01-2016 08:28 AM

Yeah I constantly crack my phones.

Frie D 07-01-2016 11:27 AM

Uh, my iPhone 6 fell on gravel face down without a case, NOTHING was wrong.

The Nokia™ 3310 by Nokia™ does not have this problem.

I haven't cracked an iphone screen in like 5 years now lol

5hift 07-01-2016 04:01 PM

All phone screens crack.

I've had my iPhone 5C for like 4 years now and I haven't broken its screen yet, I'll admit I scratched up the screen a bit but only the screen protector is damaged so I can easily replace it.

Why not invest in a decent phone case with rounded edges or just try to be more careful?

Phones aren't meant to be indestructible, especially iPhones for that matter.

If screens were made of plastic they'd honestly be more vulnerable to damage since plastic isn't nearly as strong as glass.

Well remember, plastic wouldn't be good for the ecosystem.

Neither is pretty much 99% of all components used to make phones or electronics in general.

Weeno 07-01-2016 07:22 PM

Almost all apple products get cracked screens.

Alex Damian 07-01-2016 07:33 PM

I had a lifeproof on my iPhone 6. A few days after i got it, someone stepped on it with cleats at practice. Cracked af.

SammyPs 07-01-2016 11:02 PM

got my iPhone 6 the other day and it's already broken, because of gravity. At least in getting it fixed tomorrow!

I always get a heavy duty case for my new iphone/s(Just incase-pardon the pun) but even then I never drop my phone anyway, why y'all clumsy.

Eugeen 07-02-2016 01:28 AM

I have had my iphone for like 2 years now, never used a case, dropped it 20 ish times already and still not even a single scratch.

Wolfie 07-02-2016 07:45 AM

Dang, you guys need to learn how to take care of your phones. They're expensive objects you know, especially if you're using phones like iPhone 5, iPhone 6. Like god damn, everyone who posted in this thread has a cracked phone.

Senpai Enigma 07-02-2016 01:42 PM

i never dropped my phones if my phone gets damaged its usually cuz someone else used it. I dont use cases cuz they make the phone look bigger and its uncomfortable for the pocket

Ryan 07-02-2016 02:20 PM

Owned like 5-6 iPhones/iPods/iPads etc. and never got a single crack in any of them, even though i drop them every second of the day #blessed

I have a life proof case too, I drop it ocansionly, it's fine, I slip and drop it on the toilet pipe, CRACK

Howl 07-02-2016 05:23 PM

Never got a crack in any of my devices since I got my first one in 2010.

fp4 07-02-2016 06:15 PM

My siblings phone before I replaced the screen, still worked in that condition actually.

Only cost me $70 CAD for a new screen assembly, plus another $50 to get it unlocked so I can use it when I'm in the US.

Not that surprising lifeproof are good 'cause waterproof and slim(but it being that slim-there is always going to be more impact past slim casework)

I use a heavy duty one with gorillaglass for £10 not really ever dropped it but my brother has same and allways drops his from pocket hight and his is fine.

optimuswhat 07-03-2016 07:42 AM

I've never had a phone or tablet break or crack in my possession. Woohoo!
