Mob Psycho 100 (Same Makers of One Punch Man)
So far I love the art work in it. I have only watched 2 episodes and on the 3rd one.
It has gotten me into it and well a lot of people are saying they dont like the first 2 episode and it kicks off on the 3rd or 4th. Has anyone been watching it? |
Dude, this is one of my current favorites this season. The art is awesome and when **** hits the fan Mob becomes an absolute beast.

the opening is legit |
Brilliant anime. Can't wait for the next episode :)

I agree I love the intro. I don't skip it at all. Most shows I skip to the start of the episode. Not this one.

how's the story?
|
It is similar to One Punch Man (same author), but some minor differences for the story.
In this anime, there is (according to last episode released) only 1power, which is Psycho. And (according to the last episode released) the protagonist is the strongest one, just like One Punch Man. However, he is still a kid. |
He is the strongest one when he rages.

doesn't seem too appealing imo.
sounds like all that's good about the series is the animation |

It takes 2 or so eps to get good |
It is really a good show.
I have added it to my Thursday shows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
In the last episode I was thinking maybe there were psychics who could compete with him such as the one that started to kick Mob's butt. Then today's episode was released and is just like NOPE!
|
Hmmm, I'm now all caught up, and I'd like to say that I enjoyed it a lot. Not only because of the beautiful animation, but Mob's personality, and the little drama that's going on with Ritsu atm.
Now, what I love about Mob is that his devotion to change himself. In episode 5, he resisted on using his psychic power until he passed out and transformed into something he's not. It was really cool to see that Mob is not just an OP character who just one shot everybody and become an OP punching bag (Saitama vs. Boros lol) He can struggle. Going 100% does not mean he can one shot everyone. You just need tactics and tricks, like the purple hooded dude did by spraying pepper (was it pepper?) on Mob to knock him unconscious. I really like that. It shows Mob can't always win. He can lose too. Butttttttt then now, in episode 9, how the **** did he beat the dude who ****ed him up in the previous episode in less than a minute? I mean, in episode 8, he was probably caught offguard, but still, I still wanted to see some beef between those 2. I almost forgot, in episode 8, he broke his policy of no psychic power on human beings. But that was to protect his brother, so I guess I kinda understand, but I kinda wanted him to save the 100% mode for a more grand battle. Overall score for the series for now, meh, 7/10. It's good, and I enjoy it, but it ain't great to the point where I scream in front of my television. The fights are great, but that's thanks to the animation. I mean, in episode 8, all Mob did was fly all the way in the sky, and slam the dude down to the ground, plus the beautiful animation. Sooo ya. I'll continue watching. Oh yeah, Reigen's comedy scenes are funny as hell xD |

Well he loses control. He is still young but he will be the strongest one.

Just watched yesterday's episode and maaan.
Can't wait for the next |
I've been wondering to my self , when mob loses control and goes 100% he is at his strongest psychic form, however does this stop mean he's at his best ?. I mean let's think about when he first encountered koyama , he went 100 and out powered him in terms of straight however he took many hits and basically failed at stopping his brother from getting captured.
Now if we look at their second encounter mob gets serious from the start and is actually thinking about the situation with out being in a rage 100% mode , although he's probably not as strong enough power wise he is able to analyse the best way to deal with koyama and defeat him in an instant. Considering this I now think that maybe mob is actually at a bit of a disadvantage when he goes 100% |
I feel in a way Mob didnt really know the guys full power so when he went 100% rage he did hold back his full power.
Now that he knew the guys max he just went above it and just kicked his ass. Mob really doesnt fight people so maybe his powers are just building up faster now that he fought someone who pretty much knocked him out. We really cant say how strong he is. I could see how he would be a disadvantage when he goes crazy because he isnt thinking at all of his actions. I am really enjoying the show. I hope it has more than 12 epsiodes |

Episode and what their powers are like |
That's kinda the point of the show. When his emotions reach "100%," he can no longer control his own power and goes berserk, hurting the people around him. He wants to be able to control his power because he does not want to use his powers to attack other people, or for his own benefit. Then there's the large difference between Mob's and his brother's personalities when his powers awakened.

I think what you're talking about is the ???% power, which i am quite curious about that. |
Maybe he kicked the guys ass because he was emotionally unstable already due to his brother being kidnapped and wanting to go all out and actually fight this time?
