Its a Small world

recently i was in school sitting in class and me and this random dude i didnt know where talking, out of the 4,000 total people that play in in the whole wide world, he ended up playing graal... Crazy to think that you can find random people that do the same things as you, as little as graal.

Anyone have expereinces like these or met people irl from graal?
SHARE THEM HERE!:D:D

I found a friend who played Graal, but he wasn't like the people who were actually into it. :( I've yet to find a person.

Last year at school I was playing graal on my phone during my pass (kind of like study hall) period. My upperclassman advisor asked what game I was playing an he said its old school so yeahhhhh that's it

Liz 08-31-2016 03:05 AM

I was playing with an iPad belonging to a girl in one of my classes and she had Graal downloaded, so I found out she was pretending to be a guy on Graal Classic, only had 30 or so hours though .. When I asked her about it she got mad at me oops

TeK 08-31-2016 03:18 AM

I actually learned about it through some people from my school in like i think (?) 6th grade, that would've been 2010, with a tiny playercount, so that's cool. I only played for like 2 months (end of December to mid February or something) though and was a total noob and had like no ides what I was doing so I don't really consider myself a 2010 player or anything lmao.

I haven't spoken to or had classes with any of them in ages, but I'm curious to know if any of them still play it.

I had a package delivered to me by UPS and the delivery dude was a guy that I played PC Graal with, awkward because we never liked each other

Met a kid who lived 2 streets beside me on an old PC FPS called Crossfire when I was like 12-13, it was one of those silly little kid arguments where we told each other we would kick the others #@$@ irl and then figured out we lived really close, became good friends

Idk how you guys even got on the topic of Graal, but it's pretty funny to imagine how you two must've felt when you guys where talking about it and then learned who the other was in game

Graal is the coolest game nobody has ever heard about. It's retro and nostalgic and all the nonkiddie players stem from diverse and interesting fields.

While the lack of content severely ruins the servers, it also serves as a bait for players to socialize and create their own content.

It's a survival situation. You can fly a plane and ignore everyone. If you survive a plane crash and end up stranded on an island with everyone you are bound to get to know people.

We didn't speak, I just recognized him from pictures and I knew he lived around my area, he knew he was delivering to me though because most people know my real name and stuff because I had it in my PC Graal profile for years

Extrav and Kamikaze (two Enguard members) randomly bumped into each other at a gym in NYC as well

Lmao wow that really does sound like an awkward situation

my old best friend introduced me to graal when it released on iOS when both servers only had 500-1000 players

sadly him and i aren't friends anymore because we went off on different paths (and it wasn't graal-related).. i ended up still playing until now though :/ the things a few years can do to you lol.

The closest one to me I've met that I actually know lives near me is Motrox, who lives like 10 minutes away

Mangsi 08-31-2016 08:57 AM

I met someone in graal who lived an hour away from me. Pretty impressive considering I live in the middle of no where. We made plans go meet, but never went through with it.

Not exactly to story you were looking for but oh well.

Back when the fairytail nexus was released I jumped out my class and ran straight to the bathroom to hide from teachers and check it out on my phone.
Turns out another kid did the same thing.

We used to be friends and he probably saw it on my phone and downloaded it one time and started playing.

Mangsi 08-31-2016 12:44 PM

I just remembered that I think Santa Claus lives pretty close to me, from seeing his posts about where he lives on the Pokemon Go thread.

Vic 08-31-2016 01:07 PM

I met Marina in Publix, it wasn't awkward at all

Droid 08-31-2016 01:10 PM

Had a group of irl friends that played as we all started together. I'm pretty competitive and they moved on to other games, yet I always come back to Graal as there is always something to do or someone to talk to, and here I am almost 7 years later

who was it?

Ryan 08-31-2016 01:52 PM

One of my closest school friends used to play PC Graal before I met them

Heeble 08-31-2016 09:17 PM

I was introduced to iClassic by an old friend. He quit not long after I joined. I know there is someone my age at a different high school in my city but I have not been interested in meeting him. Other than that I'm fairly certain him and I are the only players in Nebraska.

WaFFL3Cake 09-03-2016 03:13 PM

When I was in 6th grade, someone in the same guild as me (Advent V) pmed me asking about who I was. Turns out, she was one of my sister's friends from school. She was 2 years older than me, and we supposedly started playing Graal at around the same time in 2010. It must've been weirder for my sister though since I introduced her to Graal a couples weeks after I started, and they saw each other every single day without knowing.

i live pretty close to Bryan or at least to his college. but we never met.

i saw a kid in the train playing graal, he was a noob wandering around the snow town.
his father looked drunk so didn't talk to him. lol

Sardon 09-03-2016 09:33 PM

While I was playing iclassic an old friend of mine told me he used to play
he played in 2010 ish but never really got into it though sadly he moved away.
Now he's into more modern games.

I met a guy on graal that lives about 20 minutes away from me which is cool.
We don't really want to meet up though because we both find it would be awkward
