Guild permissions Grant
As of the current guild permission system only the leader can grant permissions. There should be an option for the leader to give a permission to certain players that allow them to grant permissions to others. This would make it easier to manage the guild.
And as well add that a player with kick permissions cannot be kicked by another player with kick permissions |
This is an online game. I ultimately wouldn't trust a random person with 99% control of my guild.

So what, you could still use this maybe for ur 2nd account incase ur 1st one gets banned the guild is still functional etc. besides youd be able to grant which permission is grantable

Only... if everyone had powers?
The way I understand this is more "I want some one else to run my guild to 1k hours without me doing anything." Let the new system surface. Then revisit the kick concepts. |

Anyways ... I don't think this would even be useful since guilds are heading towards a more loyal system base . |

If you have an idea, develop it properly to make it something worth considering. Like Saber said, guilds and guild management are in an "inbetween stage" right now, so give it some time before we revisit this. Hopefully you'll be able to keep an idea running for more than 24hrs next time, right? |
The permissions system is revamped in the unreleased/updated guild system and allows for much greater control and delegation.
|
so like besides fp4 and dusty what dev staff are actively working on the server. like a few thousand people actively play a game that seems to be mainly fixed/updated by 3-4 people

Honestly I would kinda expect admins to add this and have the "your fault for giving him permission" thing

Let's just be real for a second and say that you're suggesting this so that it's easier for guilds to make temporary/noob recruits, which won't be something that any smart guild is going to do when the changes happen
So while this is ultimately a good thing, it isn't going to be functional in the way that you probably want it to be |
Abolishing the idea entirely is going to be difficult no matter what I think, and I don't think this would be put in place without another factor that limits/restricts those temporary recruits to simply abuse the guild size limit. But the idea is community-born, developed and evolved. I don't think it will be going away very quickly regardless.

lmfao its funny how mob mentality made fun of this guys idea meanwhile leaders should be able to give players the power to give other people powers. I owned a semi active guild from 2010-2015 and it managed to keep a few ORIGINAL members. i would give those guys the power to give people power. some of them cared more about the guild than i did, if i had that power maybe my guild wouldn't be dead. they would have had an easier time helping me run the guild while I'm offline

in the current iteration of guilds, it isn't hard at all to keep your guild functional with the current set of permissions I've went inactive for weeks–months at a time and Alumni did fine with David, Vlad, Dante, Sarah, and Shaheen having powers |

doesn't matter |

it wasn't really hard to run the guild without this power. but in my opinion, it would have made my job easier. |
