I'm doing a Christmas giveaway on Graalonline Classic, where I'm looking for a specific amount of players to participate in a "raffle" type of event so I thought I'd ask on here.. PM me on the game if you want to participate! The itune gift cards are currently only available for US, Japan, UK, and Aus. And the Google Play cards are only available for US players but regardless of that, you're still allowed to participate if you don't mind getting a US gift card. Giveaway closes on December 22nd, 2016. Winners get their gift cards on December 23rd, 2016, which is a few days before Christmas.

For anyone that doesn't know Lia; she's the least person to scam you. Don't know why you wouldn't join the giveaway if you have enough Gralats to spend them. I took part in the giveaway.

I wouldn't join because I don't want to put 1-5-10 gifts for an iTunes card that I have a slim chance of obtaining if it's selected by a random generator lol

its not a giveaway if youre required to pay for a raffle ticket, that would be called a "raffle"

It's my event so I can call it whatever I want since I see it as a "giveaway". I think the event idea is pretty fair. I was already planning to gift the rest of the participants(@ the ones who ends up not winning later on). And yes, I'm using a random generator because I feel like that's the most fair idea, unless if anyone has a better idea in mind.

Never said I was looking for the whole community to join the event. I'm only looking for 20 players max, so no ones wasted any $$ considering most of them had already gifted me(aka the 10 "friends" I mentioned in the 4th post) before I had thought of making the event.. Get your facts straight. I'm only looking for 9 more players, who want to participate and have fun so that the event can be leveled with friends + non-friends.

1 gift for a $15 gift card is a good deal imo, whether or not you win or lose. Is incentive always needed to be nice nowadays? See your gift entry and being kind and gifting someone who is actually doing something NICE this Christmas, it's sad you'd see it as a loss instead of showing kindness to this nice girl.

honestly i've been readin this bryan kids posts and it's slowly giving me the impression that he a debby downer and kinda ******ed. 7000 gralat not worth it for $15 itunes?? u can get 8000 for $2.99, even gifting 1 gift (700 gralat) entering the $15 giveaway you're gaining more than you're spending

Well I do see where he's coming from.
7000 gralats for like a 10% chance of winning with a host that he doesn't even know is pretty sketchy.
Ofcourse he doesn't have to enter tho so it's whatever, everyone has their own opinions

I personally just dislike false advertising even if unintentional.
But I wouldn't join either way as I don't collect gifts.

5 spots left if anyone wants to join. Not understanding why certain players are so bleh about the whole event lol. It's just for fun. With the event, I ended up with only 4 gifts out of the whole 15/20 entries. There were 5 $15 entries, and 10 $50 entries. Most of the players who did the event, basically got in free because I gave back 10x/1x gifts with them during their entries, minus the last 4 players. Like Zetectic mentioned, if you want me to improve my giveaway in any way, I will take your suggestions but other than that, I don't see anything wrong with the way I'm handling my giveaway atm.

Honestly, don't have the best relationship with LiA05 but her idea getting flagged as a scam or people not wanting to enter because they think they'll LOSE more than they gain is pretty stupid. Here are some things to consider before you shamelessly put down someone who's trying to actually have fun with a unique event while giving to the community:

1.) You are not obligated to enter, so quit putting down the host.
2.) 1 gift for a chance (albeit maybe small percentage?) to win $15. Here's why it may be a loss, but a very small one at that. For the effort of less than one Pyrat quest of gralats (700), you are getting over 53 times your input IFF you win. So yes it is a gamble as all raffles are, but considering your net gain if you win, this one isn't such a bad gamble when you lose so little.
3.) Why are the 10 gift options even being brought up? That's not for everyone clearly, so using that as a way to boost your argument to putting her down is kind of pathetic. The 10 gifts are just there to make the event more interesting.

Alrigh... this the last time I'm sayin it if u missed my message like the dude above. For the participants who placed in 10 presents, they were already reimbursed with gifts when they exchanged it. The event is just for fun. As for the players who placed 1 gift in the event, I was planning to gift them after the whole event alrdy. It's cool that you have your own ideas on what a giveaway is, but this is what I see as a giveaway. If you don't like it, you're always welcome to add suggestions. There's still 2 spots left in the giveaway. Good luck to anyone participating.

I asked advice from one of the GP admins before I made the giveaway + messaged two other GP's while I was doing the event(Snow Noob, Dread & Jarace). All three said it was fine. I'm not benefiting from the event itself, other than having fun creating it.

How would this be bannable?

Lia is literally trading gifts with people, and if they traded gifts with her then they have a chance to get something extra.

Nobody is banned for doing gift for gift, even if one side is scamming (Lia honestly has too much to lose if she was scamming, doubt she would)

Wasn't a guy awhile ago got done for similar stuff think he was called Cookie - He was using players to get fort by paying them with instalments after they hit certain amount. This is basically the same thing. Scamming is legal. Paying/Giving anything out of game/across servers isn't legal. but I doubt they'd ban anyways.

Edit: Apparently it isn't illegal to pay for players to work for you, thought was different.. Maybe different with other servers like for trading for in irl money for ingame limited item someone has. idk pretty sure people have got done for similar offences though in the past, guess if they want to do stuff like this, it's upto them.

Cookie also used to bribe players for guild hats, maybe he got banned because of that. Who knows.

If what I'm doing is illegal, then all of the players in Graal City would be banned for exchanging gifts with another player through gift 4 gift. The player you mentioned was banned because he actually broke the rules. Same goes for all of the other players, who are currently banned for doing whatever raffle/giveaway stuff that they were doing in Graal City. They were probably scamming/blocking players after they recieved their gifts. Plus, I remembered that Cookie player used to hack with his alternate accounts on top of buildings, speed hacking, and such. So there are actually other factors that comes into play!

Didn't Cookie offer a ton of people iTunes for helping tower or something then when it was time to pay up he faked his death and his "friend" inherited his graal account? I love the lengths this guy was willing to go to rip people off

LiA05's basically just giving the cards away, I don't see anything wrong with that but can see why some people might be suspicious about it, but as stated earlier LiA05 is gifting them back so they aren't paying any sort of entree fee, it's just a giveaway on her end

I gave her the heads up that she won because I didn't remember which card she wanted(iTunes or a Google Play gift card) since I didn't want to buy the wrong one but so far, the other winners are still unannounced until tomorrow :P.
