In my opinion the better question would be "how many MVP's do you have compared to your total wins?". Sadly it doesn't keep track of total wins so you can't really answer that question

What is mvp based off of, most dmg dealt?

Damage plus health. So if I get 2 hits and had have 3.0 health, I get 8 points. Whoever has the most points gets mvp

I always thought it was either hits or hits/hits taken, but this would make sense too. Are you 100% sure though, or are the other's still possibilities?

Isn't hits/hits taken the same as what I said? Its definitely not just hits alone tho

No, they aren't the same. In one theory (the one I mentioned), the MVP is decided by whoever has the highest number when dividing their hits by their hits taken, while in the other theory (the one you mentioned), the MVP goes to the highest number when adding player's hits to their remaining hits they could endure before they would die.

As you can see, depending on which theory is the correct one, the MVP could go to either player.
