Samsung or Apple
Can you guys help me decide? I clearly want a phone that has a good camera both front and back and that has a good graphics for playing.
|
Samsung is better for games as its more accesable but im pretty sure apples camrea is better, Id go with samsung because theyre just more reliable. Plus its easier and better to use.
|
Samsung/Android all the way. Apple products are merely fashion accessories. They serve very little practical use outside of looking hip and stupid.
|
i have the s7 edge and its ok at best
wonky gps, samsung preinstalls apps that are a pain to remove, and no cool features like double tapping the screen to wake the device up like my oneplus 2 had. stick with google's flagships (pixel atm, even tho its overpriced) or those budget ones that try to stay legit android by not preinstalling a ton of their own **** (oneplus, i think moto does it too?) |
Apple has the best camera quality, Samsung has best performance. I had used my iPhone 5S for Photography on the go since I don't want to carry a canon camera wherever I go, You can also edit your pictures on it using the camera/photos app which are helpful for editing contrast and etc, You can download apps on the appstore to enhance your photos more.
If you're lucky you might find a cheaper iPhone 7 Plus for a cheaper price, but you should go with Samsung if you're going to use gaming more since I find it really reliable rather than iPhones if you go with gaming, More FPS really. But having a samsung can prone you with viruses which are times harmful to your device, It really depends on preferences but I would go with iPhone since It's really useful if you're going to snap photos. But you could probably find a device which has the capabilities of both really. |
If it came down to Apple vs Samsung - I'd definitely recommend Samsung, their phones are a lot more reliable. I've had both an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy and the Sumsung was a lot easier to use as well as it lasting a lot longer than the iPhone. I've never had a problem with my Samsung phone. The only upside I find to having an iPhone is that the camera is really good and apps are made specifically for certain device resolutions, but I find that iPhones always seem to have something wrong with them within a year or two, at least from my experience.

Apple Products are way too expensive for what they are, anything that isnt Apple is better

GooglePixel

I recently upgraded my S4 to an S7 and I love the S7. I don't know the camera spec differences but I just like Samsung better. Graphics on a phone are what you expect. I doubt Apple and Samsung are very different with that.
My S4 throughout the last year had some serious battery issues, though. I was charging that damn thing 3-4 times a day and if would drain battery while it wasn't even in use. It might have been a battery issue that I could have been able to fix by getting a new battery, but it might have been my outdated phone with their new updates. Either way, I think you experience obsolescence a lot more in an iPhone than you do in a Samsung. |
Can't do much wrong with an One Plus 3T.
|
Used to be a pretty die-hard Apple fan but their recent phones are pretty lousy.
If you do end up going with Apple, don't get the iPhone 7. |
I have the iPhone 7 Plus and it is fast. From turning it off and on. It is really quick and the camera is really good. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...871c6b36bd.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...21bfcb9a0e.jpg
Their new feature called. Portrait is really great. I love it but you need good lighting to use it fully. But main issue is the headphones. I would buy the AirPods. But they are pricey and I wouldn't pay for price for them when I could easily go for another brand and use their Bluetooth headsets. Battery life is really good. I can go a full day and half with it. And that is from me texting playing an hour or 2 of games and just about anything else. Do I think apple is better? Hell no. But I do enjoy their phones as they are and I don't need all these other extra feature the androids has. Their macs are great for videos editing but aren't good for gaming. |
iPhone if you dont want a virus on your phone.
Android if you want all the coolest things. |

Or you know you can get a good PC for a better deal and not be a dip**** and use shady software. |
You won't get a virus on your android unless you're stupid.

Anyway, if you have the cash, buy a Sony Xperia Z5 Premium unlocked. The demand has decreased and so has the price, but that's not to say there wasn't depreciation since the release, so it's definitely worth it now, and was still worth it when it was $800. I kid you not, Sony makes the best phone cameras in the industry, so if that's really what you're looking for, go with Sony. They use Android OS, but they have their own launcher that looks really nice. The Z5 Premium is the only (or first, if they've progressed to make others with the tech since the release) phone to have a 4k resolution display, and has all the cool features of a Samsung to go with it, such as the fingerprint sensor (which is located on the side, which, in my opinion, is much more convenient). You'd think the battery life would be horrible, but compared to most other phones it's actually about average. However, relative to Sony's other products, it doesn't own up. |
Apple if you're a noob.
|
A few years ago, I wouldve said Apple; but iOS 10 is just so awful, and the iPhone 7 having no headphones is what will tip me towards Android in a few years when my 5S needs to be replaced.
But I wouldnt recommend Samsung either. Ive always hated their hardware; and they have a bad track record with their batteries... Are there any Android phones that are not Samsung? (and similarly priced) |

had a samsung for years was really slow and clunky, its battery was garbage and had a bad lousy camera
The only android phone that was cool was the note 7 but it blows up so I'd only reccomend it to terrorists personally I like apples phones Its got a better camera and has a more comfortable OS I guess samsung might be the phone for you if you like mobile games but I have a console and a pc to play real games anyway. Also the virus immunity is really nice on a phone. Currently using a iphone 6S |
Why not the Google Phone?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Its really hard to get a virus on Mac. Maybe you support microsoft because almost all games are supported on windows? Well then youre dumber than your ugly mom. Not all games are supported on Mac because they know their *** |

MKBHD recently did his yearly Smart Phone Awards 2016 video, it goes into detail about the best phone in a bunch of categories. It's really useful for anyone who's looking to buy a new phone. |

But let's face it; we're never going to leave the oligopoly that's been so heavily established, whether it's in regard to carriers or manufacturers. I just remember walking into a T-Mobile store and seeing the abundance in phones, but the last time I walked into one I'm pretty sure I saw a tumbleweed drift across the room. That's a sign of not only manufacturers leaving the industry, but also carriers. Either that or it's cyclical and Motorola will make a comeback in 3 years. Even HTC is slowly drifting away. I feel like the elephant in the room is the difference between the western and eastern markets |

After looking at some of their phones the XA Ultra looks to be a pretty nice budget phone. I do think Sony deserve more sales and I'm not sure why they've been doing so poorly recently. |
Just get the flagshipkiller OnePlus

http://www.phonearena.com/phones/com...ones/9817,9612 The only downsides are the 3GB RAM vs the Galaxy's 4GB, a 300 MHz processing difference, the wireless charging which barely anyone uses anyway, and a 1.5GB difference in internal storage, which is barely anything when SD cards are an option. They both shoot in 4K, however, Xperia's sensor is larger, making it closer to "true" 4k. Speaking of 4k, Xperia has a near 4k resolution display, which barely takes a toll on battery life since they beefed up the battery size for that very reason. Galaxy has optical image stabilization, which isn't much of an advantage since Xperia has digital image stabilization. Both have fingerprint sensors and the same IP rating. I think the greatest aspect of buying the Z5 Premium is the camera and the price, and the fact that what your camera shoots is more accurately displayed, so if a good camera is what you're really looking for, go with Sony. I agree, Sony does deserve more recognition and sales for their work. Btw I loved that review of the Z5 Premium |
Apple good
Samsung bad Ez |
apple is if you want something sleek and has good camera quality. Samsung is for all the cool stuff without doing something like jailbreaking(although theres rooting for it). I have an iPhone and its fine, although when I do upgrade I want to try out Pixel or Android.
|
If you do get an iPhone, jailbreak it.
Your phone becomes 100x more fun. |
