Player count record?
 
I do not know the current record. But there were 5,011 players online today.

With more udpates coming, I think it is safe to say we are reaching an average player count of 5,000 or 4,500.

Last time I was on, I saw 4766. I think the record is around 5100 or so.

I don't like it, it's going to be increasingly more difficult to spar, as a higher player-count is hell on the server.

But then you wouldn't have all your friends in one and If you could swap one would be super full and others pretry empty so they would exploit that.

Apparently you'll never see a playercount greater than the current record(except maybe by a small value) because after that the server starts to crumble under the mass of the players and starts disconnecting other players. Basically reaching a peak playercount.

once we hit 4800 at any given time, players should be disconnected if theyre killed twice within a minute. this way, the idlers can still gain hours without being disconnected because of a high playercount

Shouldn't we be disconnecting the idlers so that people who are actually playing the game can still do so? By idlers I mean people who are going afk to gain hours

Not really, if the server is able to hold on that much player you won't notice anything.

If it happens, can still have a server upgrade who will allow the server to hold on more players.

That makes Classic being the new record holder of the most players online at once.

I believe that already happens, when they send you to the idle screen you are probably not requesting a lot from the server or something.

Also adding a new Battle Arena should please the sparrers if they think more players will cause problems with spar, of course along the server being expanded so it can hold more people...

No when they send you to the idle screen u still rack up the hours. I use to afk with my android phone by having graal on and then turning my phone off while graal was on it.
I would turn on my android phone again in 1 day and bam , another alt sparring account.
By the way, I dont use the android phone much because i have a better phone

I think the server will lag alot while playercount increases. The maximum playercount is 16k right?

I'm not really sure about the maximum capacity an iOS server is able to hold.

But if 16k were to happen, poor server !
iOS servers tends to start having lag issues near 4k-4.5k players online.

16k ppl might make the server crash.
