CTF TOURNAMENT
 

What CTF is? How to play it?

CTF (Capture the flag) is a game I made in my house with castle's new furnitures (I didn't use a lot of furnitures because I don't want players lag and freeze).

Rules are simple: There are two teams, a vase in the middle, when the referee say Go (you have to be on your team's carpet, if u're not the game wont start), teams rush the vase (usually, one defend the carpet and the other one rush). When you have the vase, you have to go to the other team's carpet and score. When you die you respawn on the skull (check map there \/) and you have to go to your team's spawn point by jumping over the wall where flowers are (you can't go to other team's spawn). Bombs and arrows are allowed but you can't use mount. Half-time (switch side) at 3 points, game ends at 6 points.

The tournament

Starts the Saturday, March 11th
Reward: 5000g (I know I'm poor)
Bracket: challonge.com/graalctf (will uptade it)
Teams of 2
8 or 16 teams (depends on the number of participants)
Teams must wear the same hat and the color of their side
I'll pm teams' leader when it's their turn

If you're interested, just comment this thread with ur team's name, your ingame nickname, a guild you're in, your team mates' names and the best time you are available.
(if you aren't a member of Graalians, just pm me ingame)

If there is not enough team, the tournament will be canceled

If you get two respawners, then you can have guild ctf.

It works well like this, and u can take same tag if u dont work friendlyfire. And 1 respawner is better, it makes defenders lose time so attackers can score.

It's literally designed to have two guilds, with spawn points for each. I understand 8000 is a lot of money, but I was just pointing out that it was possible to do it, not criticizing your neat idea.

Yes maybe u're right, I'll try with two respawner, if it's better I'll uptade the map. And if u try the game u'll see that one respawner is enough

But, what if a player jumps to the other player's side? Are they disqualified or kicked?

What time are you going to do this on Saturday? I'm free after 2pm PST.

Not disqualified or kicked, if his team win the round they play the round again, if it's the other team who score, the game continue.

I think I wont do it in one day because everybody wont be on and a game take more than 10 minutes, the tournament can take 3 days.

I tried other templates, like the castle one, the sky one etc. But this one was good and It's enough big for 2v2, if u play it u'll see that it's already hard to defend, if I make it bigger it will be very easy to score and there wouldnt be any strategy, people would rush everygame.

k dude, buy 2 vases, 1 for each team.
then have people on red team defend their vase, blue defend blue's vase
then you could have people from red try to take blue's vase, or blue take red's vase

Hi! I played the old CTF don't worry, I already though about it. How we can know which vase they took? I dont have slimy vase.
And there was no challenge in old CTF u know

I had time to finish the map (I didn't change a lot of things, I just made it a little more clean and opened a new way) It can change before Sunday (I'll add bomber etc.).

Before every game I'll do a training round to explain rules! Please wear the same hat with your team mate and be in the same guild before ur turn to not lose time :)
