Hey everyone. Rather than reading through pages of old threads would anyone care to let me know how things are? I'd like to hear about anything you think is noteworthy related to iZone or even iEra. Who's still around and how many players are online on average etc. I left these forums about 1000+ days ago in a bad way and graal altogether soon after that. When I left I was the leader of Aureus, the playercount was probably averaging about 400 players and I was one of the VERY few outspoken players against the staff/managements actions. Just to jog your memory..

But on iZone, basically nothing happened tbh.
Multiple Managers, promised new tilesets, map changes.

Then once upon a time a Delterian named Chelterrar came around and became the Manager of iZone and took away Planet bases, everyone flipped ****. Now we have Blackfires who brought back Conq and is redoing Spring.

Tbh that's all, iZone is slowly falling into the abyss.

anyways, Zone's a **** hole that was turned over to people who were average-level staff on Delteria and hadn't played Zone or had any dedication to Zone.

How come barely anyone talks about Alex? I think he was pretty decent but once he took over that's when zone really became boring. Imo

I did see jwd do a thread like this but I apologise if this a trend. I was a huge fan of iZone and had the most in-game hours for a while too. Really, I'm still rooting for this server

Yes, in fact I was only one of maybe 2-3 people who recognised the trouble with iZone from the very start of the management after jwd and actually said something about it. many staff were corrupt and abusive of their power etc. If i remember right, you were a popular and optimistic staff member back then

iDelteria had so much potential and good looking content it's a shame :(

To be fair on zone, I can't think of a space online server like it(that isn't 3D etc) So is unique, I just feel sometimes even the theme of space lets it down.. I never see many of the highly graded gfx people ever make space themed stuff(bar from a few space helmets)

I just hope someone actually has the guts to scrap the tileset and get a new one, okay it may still basically be same game but the overall graphics is what makes people get drawn in & is a big starting point for a new zone. (Chelt's tileset was basically done bar layers-that arn't exactly needed) So idk why they ain't using it. no excuse.


I personally think unix has no idea about it and it's all propaganda, doubt they'll use any even if was completely done they'd have to inform him anyway to change images on app store etc and also see if he actually thinks better as there is no saying it could be worse and backfire hence why I don't get the thread that was deleted for -leaking it even though it was chelt himself who shown. players are going to see it anyway this just brings extra opinions.

-Spring was removed, returned, now removed again
-Iricia, Spring Towers is not coming back
-Conq was removed, returned, came back after spring was removed the second time
-New base "Leo" will be a remake of Spring. (it's finished will be released soon)
-Squads need 2k hours to get a hat

Rebalancing of guns
-Geno rebalanced guns after GIT and Cookie ruined it. Did not return reload freeze
-Dragun rebalanced guns again and returned reload freeze (which many new gens complained)

Sparring
Steezy rarely spars, but he's still one of the best
Pool won in SST
Many great sparrers quit zone, Spar is kinda dead now.
*I suggested to some staffs to put Tunder's and your spar guide when they remake fight club* which they might

Squads
Aureus was given (sold i think) to Kippy by Pandavi
Triction hit 5k
Leader of Cbra Legends help Kippy finnish Aureus to 5k
Obsidian has 12k (idk if u care)
In The End (formerly known as CBRA LEGENDS) is almost 10k. They havent got any 5k rewards yet

Tradings
ZC cannot be traded to balance economy after the surplus
Cant farm graaliums anymore (disabled medbots in missions)

Managers and staffs
Chelt was awful promised a new base and tilestes but never was there any progress. Allegedly fired for being Pedo
Gunderak brought back In-game forums, left coz he has better things to do
Silver left because he was doing everything and all he did has to be approved by someone
Blackfires is cool and responds to player issues personally but doesnt know anything about development, doesnt manage the inactive zp team well
the levels team now are doing great on its own with Krawwd
ZP team is full of kids.
Gfx team has awful gfx imo


Is it more fun than "old zone"? nope.
Is there potential this year? Yes. Plans of change are being put to action

It wasn't fake. That's just the cute story Chelt made up to spare what little dignity he had left.

The guy who exposed chelt even admitted him self that it was fake. I believe his name was daiymu or something like that. He said that he was mad at chelt and wanted to get him fired. So he photoshopped chelt's profile pics to the sample messages

I don't know if these posts will be deleted or not because Colin doesn't really want people to talk about it since Chelt is gone now, but Colin got access to Daimyo's account and verified that it was Chelt, not photoshopped. That's when Chelt was forced to leave for the 2nd time permanently. Prior to that, Chelt got back into Graal with his story saying it was fake, but the truth came out and he was forced out again.

Oh. Well guess he is a Pedo.

Base changes are interesting. I think removing iricia was a good choice, I never like that base anyway unless there was 20 players there, zone should focus on bases more like the one with ladders. i forgot what it's called, but theres 2 sides, a bunch of ladders, and 3 points to hold down. That base was the best.
Tunder brings back the best memories. Idk who pool is, but grats to them for winning the squad tournament. Totally forgot i ever even did a guide on sparring. The original sparrers left before steezy even started, thats when sparring died imo. But squad tournaments helped keep it somewhat alive

I gave Aureus to iPandavi because I put my faith in him as a friend but he turned out to be a traitor pretty much, he sold it to kippy. no way he gave it up for free, he wanted to sell it back to me after he stole it lol.

Sounds like basing has kept zone in decent shape, playercount is still there. Obs 12k is impressive. Guns never needed much tweaking in my opinion until they started introducing new stuff. Staff team sounds better than the old one, but that isn't hard to achieve

edit: Oh also the ZC change sounds good. I never liked being able to trade so many things, they kinda blew up trading from the start. I did have fun selling almost all my hats in my ship store though lol, I remember making so much ZC i bought almost everything in the event shop. probably worthless stuff now. In-game forums was such a great addition to this game. too bad i was banned from them instantly haha

That's spring alright! Still the best base zone ever had imo but it's replaced with a new remake.

I meant by SST was Single Spar Tournament. Last 2 years , the management was so chaotic that they couldnt host one event that all sparrers look forward to. maybe because they're unable to or they're lazy af, not sure. but it just ended up being single spar which is knda lame. :(

Well, one thing is for sure, Zone has definitely not improved and it probably won't unless Backfires stops flirting with 12-yr old zone player and starts leading the bloody team in a positive direction.

BTW, SST hasn't been hosted in probably 2 years, I hope I'm not exaggerating (honestly forget). I've been on other servers just taking a break from iZone. I'm going to definitely get someone with a higher position to start doing SST again. If not, I'll host my own and get it into the news.

Hey funk.I've lost track of time too...but I'm glad I was able to participate in that first SST I think there was only 2 hosted total then. I don't know who would enter now, it seems like many people left and only some base farmers are still around.

Well, glancing through this thread, I feel like the odd one out, I only have a Heartbreaker in Zone ;( ...anyways, I heard that you wanted to be posted on iEra as well, and since its been 1000+ days, I have decided to give you some huge updates.
Shrekt won 2015 and 2016 GST.
The playerbase depleted a little bit (at least lately, it's been like 2.5k or so)
Chemical Guns are no longer allowed in bases
Chemical Guns clear spar rooms nowadays :(
Obsidian has returned as of mid-late 2016.
Obsidian ended Grim Reapers in Tachi, Grim retired.
Arte playershops have changed to its original version, as a digging bus.
Spar hats and masks have been updated in regular spar and Multiplex.
iFreeze isn't a thing anymore.
The map is still pretty much the same, the playerbase is still the same (I think you'd understand what I meant, as well the majority of this thread)
Weapons were recently updated, retextured, nerfed, or boosted. 68+ guns were affected.

The server still lags even though it lost 1/6th of it's playerbase. :|
That's pretty much it for any updates that are new :/ nothing has really happened

(One last thing, gang rewards in iEra were extended to 50k hours being the highest, was formerly 15k, the new rewards you can get is new gun skins, custom melees, new gas masks, melee skins, grab hats and more hideout rooms.)

Phoebe pretty much sums up everything. Things are being plan and there are stuff being worked on. It's just a matter of time. Guns are being balance out as well as melee. I plan on adding more dynamics to the combat system in the near future. There's a ton of work to be done and very little time so it might take us, or at least me a while to get everything set up. New tileset is done, maybe a few extra stuff here and there. Things will be release surely but slowly over the year. I just hope all these projects don't get stalled again.

i like the extended gang rewards. No surprise with shrekt/obsidian and not surprised to hear nothing new has been added lol. Sad to hear about iFreeze though, probably the best basing gang on era

Thats good to hear. Its nice to see you still dedicated to this server. I'd totally rejoin zone to help support you guys, you know by keeping the playercount strong but I can't recover any of my graal accounts since my emails were hacked. yahoo and google both stopped offering customer support and screwed me over. Can't think of a betted way to spend freetime than playing graal again and reviving the basing scene... now im going on about fantasy x( haha
