Fate of the Furious
 
Ok, just watched the movie today, and I'm a BIG F&F fan. This movie definitely surprised me. But it's still amazing.

They made Dom a villain, damn. I can understand why. But why would you make the villain of the 6th movie (Ian Shaw) a hero? Wtf. And Roman didn't die in Russia when he was holding on to the door exposed the millions of bullets? At least 1 bullet should have hit him, smh. And the end was a bit cliche. Having the villain (Cipher) escape. wow. ok

Well there's still 2 more movies set in motion so we'll have to wait to see what happens. I saw the movie as well and it really topped off previous installments. The ending was a nice tribute to Paul Walker which made most of the audience cried.

I hadn't watched any of the fast and furious movies before 8. I can say that the movie was so cliche and has some bad acting but at the same time that's why it was so good. Super corny at sometimes but the action scenes were well done (of course that's what these movies are known for)

I was confused about how Don had two latina girls, like tf you have a child with one and wife the other???

haven't seen it yet and idk about all of you but I liked the old F&F movies the best, when it was just old school driving, street racing, drifting, etc. None of these stunts that require you to seriously suspend your disbelief. I still extremely love the newer F&F movies, but the older ones are the best imo.

Definitely was a different kind of movie, it was ok imo. I like the new cast and roles for this movie too.

Some scenes were laughably unrealistic as usual (Dom rams into truck full of missiles and they all fire off into every other truck in pursuit, niiiiiiice lol) and it seems like the franchise tries to make each movie more explosive and bigger than the next (submarine and nuclear codes really now)

Because in the previous movies, Letty was missing/lost her memories. Throughout Fast 5/6, Dom and Elena were seen together and getting really close. In Fast 7, however, Letty regained her memories and it helped rekindle the lost connection between Dom and her. As for Elena (assuming a time jump), she retired as a cop and working for Hobbs due to being pregnant but didn't reveal this until Fast 8. So that's why Dom really cared about Elena, for what they had and for conceiving his child. The one thing that Dom cares about the most is family. When she was killed, it triggered him emotionally.
