Would I be a Good Admin?
 

Hey, I am thinking of applying for staff. Actually I already did. I'm wondering if I would be a good administrator. I understand you think I am new... Which I am to the forums. I have been approximately active on graal for 7 years on Graal Classic though. I'm 13 and I know my application might be immediately denied due to that, but I am still wondering if I have what it takes.

You've been playing Graal since you were six years old? I never heard of anyone playing it that young. Anyways, we don't know you, so we can't really judge whether you'd be good or not. That you're thirteen isn't going to go over well to a lot of the forum members, I can say that much.

I don't think anyone can judge you since nobody knows you, being pushy about it is probably not the best approach, also starting at 6 seems unlikely and will probably make people think you are lying.

How long you have played isn't really important as long as you know the basics and have general knowledge of the game, I would just leave the 7 year part out because it seems like a reach and unbelievable and will just cast doubt on your application.

However, asking these kinds of things (the "would i be a good admin yes/no") are generally off-putting to those that hire staff. The admin title has been highly glamorized for some reason, I find that those who are willing to volunteer their time but don't take their ranking too seriously make the best staff members.
A common sentiment among former staff I've seen is "don't become an admin just to become an admin", which I don't necessarily see in you -- you do seem to have an interest in helping people (but not sure if that's just to help your chances of becoming staff, I hope not anyways). Your age doesn't necessarily help, but it hasn't been a limitation in the past (not sure).

I believe you just make it over the age limit so it all comes down to your actual application. Age shouldn't matter to much as long as you didn't leave any questions out, write a load of useless stuff, repeat things etc.

My younger cousin exozo is currently 8 with 500 hours and has been playing 3 years however he lacks certain things that a normal player has: social skills, reading skills, knowledge and other things along those lines.

If you think about it what would I gain by lying? I do love helping people. That's why I am on the forums, I don't blame you because I know people do that so they can be cool and be able to kick anyone they want, but I'm not biased so I wouldn't ban anyone. Thank you for your honest and best opinion. I also love how you put it in a nice way instead of saying "You would be a terrible admin"

I'm not that familiar with Player Worlds. But I can ask my friend about it if need be. He was an admin of player worlds once.

You've contradicted yourself just in this thread and changed it based on what others believed was false to begin with for that reason. No you wouldn't be good admin. Staff need to be trusted with things

Steps to becoming an admin:

-Be between the ages 13-15
-Not know any aspect of the game e.g. Sparring, BKing and PKing.
-Have an account with no Ban history
-Have a status saying "PM Me with any questions you need answering"
-Make a false number about how many people you've helped in your status.
-Befriend Zanza members and get into that clan
-Hang around at the entrance of Battle Arena 24/7.
-Apply for the GP Application

Your age doesn't really matter however you might not want to mention it as some people might dislike the fact that you are young.

It is really about what you can contribute(Levels graphicss gani ect.)
If your work is top of the line yiu should be able to get hired anywhere.

However GP positions you should forget as they will reject you as soon as they figure out your age

The only reason I made this thread was to see if people thought I was a good admin. If I am not I will try my best to become more popular on forums and in the game itself. I already applied, if I get accepted I will deny it and try to become better. Then become admin if that makes any sense. Thank you all for the feedback though!

Thank you for your concern, but I like being honest and if I get denied due to my age I will just apply next year. I don't care what other people think unless it is suppose to be feedback in a good manner or even a bad manner.

To the first bit becoming more popular or known in the game doesn't necessarily mean you'll be good at the job although sometimes does give better chance of being accepted - Popularity isn't something you should aim for at all imo - that screams out to me as you just wanting the fame and 'popularity' that staff get just from being staff; they are no different from any other player.

At second bit, So if players say you won't be good admin you'll reject an offer to become admin even if accepted lmfao!!! wth - Another stupid comment that makes you not worthy of becoming admin(Admin get judged if they good or not anyway-same in life aspects)
