I got quite some insight in the dev community, and I'm honestly not sure there is currently any progress made. The stuff someone showed me half a year ago, seemed quite okay to build with, but was still missing a bunch of stuff like npcs. If they want a new map, they need to pre-design it and then start building it with people who actually built a functioning map before. And currently there seems to be no Levels Team Member or Staff in general who has experience on maps and design. So you could offer them help, but I'm honestly not sure if a new gmap won't be in need of rebuilding all over again

It doesn't change anything. It just proves, as it is done more and more, that it is not so difficult. Slapping a GMAP together is easy. It's been done ~7 times. Making a good, quality GMAP is hard, which is why it has yet to be done, and probably never will be.

Don't mistake a large task with a difficult one.

No worry you don't need a high lat level to be hired on zone

They don't need lats, they need some awesome paid scripter to dive into the scripts and overhaul most of it

ATM they have 30 zps and like 2 lat,1 gani and a few scripters.

I bet they got top notch ZPs too
