Hello! If you are interested in joining the Ol' West Levels Team look no further for the application!

Along with the application, I will need to see your Levels:

1) One outside level. Be sure to include verity! (Buildings, Grass, Water, etc...)

2) Three interior levels. Make sure to be creative! They can be their own, individual, places, or 3 connected levels. Your choice!

3) Feel free to include more, but it is not required! I want to see your best work.

4) When your Levels are completed email them to [email protected]

5) Be sure to include your Graal ID in the email!

As you can see west is desperate for people in the LaT position and Scripters lmao

This isn't a thread to question ones skill. It's about recruiting new members. If you want to see some stuff how about contacting him or her personally or asking him or her if he or she has a thread in the levels forum. But overall this right here is to recruit new members.

The server has good potential, but there seem to be difficulties in steering the human resources

It had* good potential but hw and the sheriffs ruined it elk with false promises and corrupting the only activities in the game basing and events u.u

Now us westerns just take our time waiting for delteria and looking at your bootiful art elk.

i would apply but i dont have the program to make any levels, and i've searched online and none of them work on my pc

there's 2 of them

the official and then there's gonstruct. It would make sense if the official one didn't work but I'm not sure if gonstruct has the same compatibility issues. If you haven't worked with the program then you probably have not made levels before so not sure if it would be a good idea before getting on some desperate playerworld server and training yourself in leveling basics then ol'west's weird tileset.

All that before applying.

Sick of seeing this Tomato Panda spitting garbage in every thread relating to ol west. I have no clue what history you have with the game, but i didnt even play ol west and applied for graphics team, and was openly welcomed in. My friend Grk then started playing ol west and without being associated to Vanderwoodsen, became friends with some of the staff members.
In the end i dont care how you see yourself being a hard done by victim, i just dont want to see you unnecessarily take digs at the staff in every thread, especially when your points are petty and interpreted.

Rosewald your opinion on the game is zero if you havnt been playing since released lmao theres a reason why people are pissed off. Yes some of the staff is nice sometimes and west staff does have probably nicest staff OVERALL but theres still many problems with them and people like me are tired of this server cause weve wasted so much time on here just for it to turn into another zone. Look at some of the old threads on graalians the west community in 2015 early 2016 was great and staff team was FAIR towards the players always. The team loved useing other peoples ideas and there was none to little rigging going on. People like Pariah, Wings, Pika, (rest of gfx team) are nice like you said but the rest of the sheriffs and some deputys are corrupt and mean towards anyome thats not in their little circle. If you plau for long enough youll see why I try my best to make west look bad on these forums lve given up on this game like many others and most of us feel like we were ripped off :/ soon you wont have to see me *** talking anymore once delteria is out im done with west.

I played it on release and own all of the first few holiday shop stuff, but yeah.

Sorry if you get tired of me complaining all the time but thats kinda what graalians is for :p to spread ideas and to give your opinions on certain parts about graal and lately its been bad. In the past i just used to post idea threads with a lot of others but 9/10 of the west community is inactive or quit cause theyve lost hope in the server or just became not interested. Plus now idea threads are useless cause everyone knows they dont got a good developer/scripter anymore now that symm and alpho are gone.

yes i haven't made a graal level before but i have created levels for games that i've been working on. i've tried gonstruct it just doesnt run on my pc.

I was GFX back in 2015 :p but I moved to LAT because it’s something I enjoy more!

Hm... my credentials? 🤔 Well, I’ve been practicing levels for a few years now, and I think I’m pretty good at it, but who am I to say? :p

As for why anyone would want to work for me. I treat my staff fairly, everyone is given equal work and credit for everything that they do, and I’m always there if they have questions or need help! ....also idk what Vanderwooden actually means if that helps..? I know it’s something people add to their name..?

I guess I’m no good to ask how I am to work for, you could ask someone on the LAT team if you’re genuinely curious!

Not very strong credentials there. No previous experience, nor any showcasing/portfolio provided. If you want skilled LATs to come in, they need to know that who they are working for has an equal or greater amount of skill when it comes to making levels.

There is no skill when working with Ol West's tileset. Its pure luck and who can figure out what something is supposed to be.

This thread isn’t about me, so I don’t feel the need to go into detail.

I happen to like Ol’ West’s tiles, all personal opinion though, but if you think you need to work so hard to figure out what something is, that itself would exhibit leveling skill. :p

I agree with Coco Rose -- this thread really isn't the place to discuss your opinion on the staff team or how well you like the graphics. If you aren't interested in applying, move along or make another thread about it.
